On October 29th, 2023, officers in Ohio were dispatched to a residence following reports of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers heard sounds of a heated argument inside the home. Upon announcing their arrival, officers requested a female resident to exit the residence and speak with them while other officers spoke with the other male occupant inside. The man explained that he and the woman, who were roommates, had been arguing with him after bringing up leaving her dog in a cage for an extended period of time. He disclosed that during the argument, the female had punched him twice in the arm but declined having any injuries. Outside the home, the female continued shouting as she explained what had happened to officers. Upon questioning by the officers, she admitted to hitting her roommate because she was angered by him over the argument about her dog. Consequently, she was informed of her arrest for domestic violence. The situation escalated as she resisted arrest, clinging to the porch railing. Officers eventually placed the suspect in handcuffs and escorted her to the patrol car. She continued to resist, refusing to get into the back seat of the cruiser. After the suspect was placed into the patrol car, she was transported to jail for further processing. The suspect was charged with Assault (1st Degree Misdemeanor) and Resisting Arrest (2nd Degree misdemeanor). #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
