buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On February 22, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Police Officers Harry Montalvo and Daniel Barron responded to Walgreens Pharmacy, 1300 Willow Ave., on reports of a possible robbery during which an employee was assaulted by a shoplifter who then left the scene. Police Officers Aaron Font, Jason Figueroa, Brandon Fitzgibbons, and Anthony Rutkowski also responded. An on-scene investigation revealed the actor was seen placing medicine bottles into his jacket pocket. When an employee asked him to put them back, he did, but when he was asked to leave, he became upset, threatened the employee with violence, and threw a canned beverage striking the employee’s arm causing a bruise. Police Officers located the actor, later identified as 32-year-old Salahudin James of Newark, outside of the store and he was arrested for robbery. A search of James found him to be in possession of a 7-inch folded knife. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, and it was discovered he had previously been convicted of a burglary, so he was additionally charged with certain persons not to have a weapon and possession of weapons for unlawful purposes. After being processed, he was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #walgreens #news #shoplifting
