In this episode of Mikey Pipes, Cuffed by Cops, newly released bodycam and patrol car footage captures the full arrest of a retail theft suspect whose night unraveled fast. On March 28th, just after 10:30 p.m., deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Target store on Okeechobee Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach after loss prevention reported a suspect actively defeating anti-theft systems inside the store. According to arrest documents, the suspect — Christian Aleman Fernandez — was observed using a magnetic anti-shoplifting device, concealing merchandise, and exiting the store with over $1,000 worth of stolen Apple products. What initially appeared to be a routine retail theft investigation quickly escalated when deputies conducted a records check and discovered multiple out-of-county felony warrants, turning the encounter into a full custodial arrest. This video includes raw, unedited body-worn camera footage from first contact through transport and booking at the Palm Beach County Jail. Charges Include: • Grand Theft Over $750 • Possession & Use of an Anti-Shoplifting Device • Out-of-County Felony Warrants Bond: $10,000 As always, all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
