A shocking case unfolded on the NSW Central Coast when an elderly woman was tragically killed inside her own home during a violent domestic dispute. Police were called to the scene after a man phoned triple-0, claiming there had been an argument and that he had attempted CPR. Officers arrived to find the woman deceased, with disturbing injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. During the investigation, body-worn footage captured the man changing his story multiple times — initially claiming self-defence, then admitting to throwing a heavy pot plant that ultimately caused her death. CCTV later revealed he had visited a local pawn shop just hours after the incident, selling household items taken from the home for drug money. Court proceedings revealed a long history of drug addiction, emotional instability, and prior conflict between the two. The man was convicted of murder and sentenced in the NSW Supreme Court to over two decades behind bars, with a non-parole period of 15 years. This video includes police footage and courtroom findings to shed light on a harrowing case of domestic violence, drug addiction, and the tragic consequences that followed.
