Bodycam footage from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office in Florida shows the moment deputies were called to a distressing scene where three young children, all under the age of five, were found wandering alone and unsupervised. On May 18th, 2025, deputies responded to a call from concerned neighbors who found three toddlers, including one who was lying in the middle of the road. When deputies arrived, they found the children wandering aimlessly, with one not wearing any pants. As they investigated, the children's mother pulled up in a car and was confronted by the deputies. The mother claimed she had only been gone for a short time to get groceries, but her story didn't add up. After deputies explained the extreme danger her children were in, she was placed under arrest and charged with three counts of child neglect.
