On January 3, 2025, Waukegan Police responded to a domestic disturbance call where a stepfather had used bear spray on his 35-year-old stepson during an argument over unpaid rent. Officers arrived to find the son, Marcus, sprinting out of the house covered in the orange substance and screaming in pain. What followed was a bizarre and surprisingly humorous interaction as Marcus, while being treated by EMS, launched into a series of loud, confused rants about bears, Vikings, and Ron Jeremy. Despite the family declining to press charges, the physical evidence led to Marcus being arrested for domestic battery. Watch the chaotic and comical aftermath of a family rent dispute gone wrong.
