On 10/28/2025 at 7:26 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male, of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law by Flight [2C:29-1A91)], Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Possession of CDS Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] by providing false information to the police. He was arrested in the parking lot of 470 Harmon Meadow Boulevard. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. An arrest is not a finding of guilt: that’s something for a court to decide.
