On November 19, 2023, West Palm Beach officers were stationed near a Pro Palestine Rally when they observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. They asked the female driver to turn around numerous times, but she refused. More officers arrived to assist and the woman was removed from the vehicle and handcuffed. A field sobriety trained officer arrived and initiated a DUI investigation. However, the woman stomped on the foot of an officer and the investigation was terminated and the woman was taken immediately to jail. She was charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
