What happens when a driver insists she is perfectly capable of driving, but police officers see things very differently? In this intense bodycam breakdown, officers respond to a serious vehicle collision and begin investigating what happened. The situation quickly becomes more complicated when the driver identifies herself as a police officer and gives conflicting statements about how much alcohol she consumed. As officers continue questioning her, they report an odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, and behavior they believe may indicate impairment. She refuses field sobriety exercises, even after officers explain their concerns and the information gathered during the investigation. The situation eventually escalates when officers place her under arrest for DUI and battery. Even after being told the charges, she repeatedly denies touching anyone and demands to know who accused her of battery. Watch the full bodycam breakdown to see how the investigation unfolds, why officers made their decision, and what happened during the arrest. What do you think — should she have cooperated with the sobriety investigation?
