Description

On August 24th, 2024, police responded to a domestic dispute at a motel involving two women, one of whom initially claimed to be the victim. While the first woman downplayed the incident, the other provided a detailed account of physical violence, revealing that they were ex-partners and had broken up months earlier. The second woman displayed visible injuries, corroborating her account of the assault, which officers documented as evidence. After gathering statements and assessing the situation, the first woman was arrested for interference with official acts, battery, and simple battery. The case proceeded to court, supported by the victim's testimony and photographic evidence of her injuries.
