Description

A federal murder warrant leads four law enforcement agencies to a house in Yuma County, Arizona — and what starts as a routine warrant service turns into a gun battle involving over 100 rounds fired, a residential fire, and a drone sent inside to find an armed suspect officers can no longer safely approach.

On January 22, 2025, U.S. Marshals, U.S. Border Patrol, Yuma Police, and Yuma County Sheriff's deputies arrive at a residence in the Fortuna Foothills area to arrest 48-year-old David Lee McKinney, wanted for the murders of two men in Tucson three days earlier. What follows is captured almost entirely on one agent's body-worn camera.

This video is built from official body-camera footage and law enforcement accounts of the incident. Original narration only — no copied commentary.
