This 1 hour and 40 minute full police bodycam video shows the complete shoplifting investigation, arrest, and processing of 25-year-old Maryeris Ernestina Velasquez Joya, who was apprehended after allegedly stealing a breast pump and baby clothes from a Target store in Eatontown, NJ.

📅 Date/Time: September 7, 2023 – 1:19 PM

👮‍♂️ Officer: Patrolman Ryan Spahr – Eatontown Police Department

According to the police report, officers were called by Target Asset Protection after a woman allegedly attempted to leave the store with unpaid merchandise. The suspect, identified as Maryeris Ernestina Velasquez Joya, only spoke Spanish and did not have identification.

Among the stolen items were an Elvie breast pump and several baby clothing items. During questioning, she informed officers she was pregnant and due in about one week.
