Description

REAL POLICE BODYCAM footage captures officers confronting a domestic battery suspect with physical evidence of victim injuries while she attempts to redirect attention to her own unsubstantiated claims. This bodycam video documents the critical assessment of physical evidence that strengthens probable cause on Christmas Day.

In this police bodycam footage, officers continue challenging 53-year-old Theresa Lepinski about her inconsistent claims: "You didn't, you didn't take his phone?" She responds with repeated denials: "I am... didn't throw him on the ground. I did not take his phone. His phone is back there." This pattern of categorical denial, captured on the bodycam, contrasts with the specific evidence officers have gathered about both the phone and physical confrontation.

An officer directly confronts her with evidence of victim injuries: "face is uh beat the hell up because you threw him on the ground. His face, legs are scuffed up." This description of specific physical injuries, recorded on police bodycam, represents concrete evidence supporting the domestic battery charges against Lepinski.

She responds with an exclamation—"Oh my God"—before making a gender-based argument about physical capability: "So he has testosterone and I do not. So you're telling me—" This attempt to suggest physical implausibility, documented on bodycam, represents a common defense strategy in gender-reversed domestic violence cases.

Lepinski then attempts to redirect attention to her own alleged injuries: "What the hell... the fucking shit on my face was all me right? I..." An officer immediately contradicts this claim with direct observation: "There's nothing on your face. There's nothing on your face." This factual assessment, captured clearly on bodycam, represents an important evidentiary determination that undermines her counterclaims.

She persists in her redirection attempt: "but tonight... You s- you saw my face right?" The officer maintains focus on the current investigation: "We're talking about—" but is interrupted by her continued questioning: "Did you see my face?" The officer firmly reestablishes the temporal context: "We're talking about tonight," emphasizing that past incidents don't justify current conduct.

According to police reports, this Christmas Day 2024 incident resulted in Lepinski's arrest on charges of Domestic Battery, Burglary, and Resisting Law Enforcement after she became physically and verbally resistant to Gibson County Sheriff's deputies at a river camp location.

This police bodycam footage highlights the important role of observable physical injuries in establishing probable cause for domestic violence arrests, while demonstrating how suspects often attempt to redirect focus to unrelated incidents or unsubstantiated claims.
