Description

On September 2, 2024, police officers responded to a report of a suspicious woman causing a serious disturbance at 1910 North Roosevelt Blvd. The woman exhibited erratic behavior and made disturbing statements, raising concerns for public safety. Despite officers' attempts to communicate, she was uncooperative and argumentative, with intense mood swings from agitation to brief moments of calm. Her behavior became increasingly disruptive, prompting the officer to detain her for public safety. When informed of her arrest, she resisted, using offensive language and refusing to cooperate. After being restrained and searched, officers found a controlled substance on her, suggesting possible influence. She was transported to the station, where her erratic behavior continued, and later faced charges in court for disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, and possession of a controlled substance.
