Description

After this incident Officer White was suspended for 5 days and lost his FTO status. And had to attend additional training for sensitivity and anger management. On December 2020 Mr. Flanagan filed a pro se section 1983 Civil Rights lawsuit against officer White, Chief Dodson and the City of Centralia.

The parties reached a settlement during a settlement conference on August 19, 2021. On August 20, 2021, the court issued a 30-day order noting the settlement and directing dismissal with prejudice (each side bearing its own costs unless otherwise specified in the agreement). The case was formally terminated with a clerk's judgment of dismissal on September 23, 2021.
