🔍 Episode Overview:
On June 28, 2025, at about 6:01 PM, Officer Valentino Salgado patrolled Hoboken. He heard a loud noise like a car crash. He saw a black car with a damaged rear fender. The driver of the Tesla pointed to a white GMC SUV. He said the GMC likely hit his car.

Officer Salgado went to 1st Street and Willow Avenue. He found the GMC's driver. This was Bailee Zimmerman. Bailee admitted she looked at a text message. She then hit the other car. Officer Salgado saw she seemed impaired. He asked if she drank alcohol. She first said no. Then, she admitted drinking a Ginger Mule earlier.

Sergeant Francis McCourt and Officers John Rodriguez, Rose Kanan, Alexander Miller, and Kyle Seper arrived to help. As they spoke with Bailee, they smelled alcohol. They saw more signs of impairment. Officer Miller asked Bailee to do tests.

Officer Miller began the eye test. Next was the Walk and Turn test. During this test, Bailee did not walk heel-to-toe. She also turned the wrong way. The last test was the One Leg Stand. Bailee did not lift her foot correctly. She also did not count properly.

Based on the crash, her impairment, and failing the tests, Bailee was arrested. She was charged with driving under the influence. Her car was impounded for 12 hours. Officer Kanan took Bailee to the police station.

At the station, Bailee heard the driver's statement. She agreed to give breath samples. Her breath test showed a BAC of 0.13%. This was above the legal limit of 0.08%. After paperwork, a sober adult took Bailee home. She must appear in court.

Bailee received citations for: Operating under the influence Reckless driving Leaving the scene of an accident
