🔍 Episode Overview:
At 12:32 AM on July 13, 2025, Patrolman Michael Gallagher responded to a call at Ader's Tavern. Someone reported a woman passed out in a car in the parking lot. Gallagher found Lee Gale asleep in a white 2021 Buick.

He woke Lee up. She seemed surprised the police were there. Witnesses said she had been asleep for an hour. Other officers arrived soon after. Because she was in the driver's seat, Lee had to get out and do sobriety tests.

She failed the tests. The officers arrested her for driving under the influence. They towed her car for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. They took Lee to the Union Beach Police Department.

At the station, officers read her the motor vehicle operator's statement. Lee refused to give a breath sample. After processing, the police released her until her court date.

Patrolman Gallagher gave her several tickets:

Operating under the influence (39:4-50)
Refusal to submit to chemical test (39:4-50.4A)
Reckless driving (39:4-96)
Careless driving (39:4-97)
No driver insurance card (39:3-29C)

On November 5, 2025, a Union Beach Municipal Court found Lee not guilty of the DWI. She was found guilty of refusing the chemical test. She had to spend 12 hours at a driver resource center and install an ignition interlock device for 7 months. She also paid 465 dollars in fines.

Lee has a history with the law. She was arrested for her first DWI in Neptune Township on April 30, 2025. She was arrested for a third DWI in Hazlet Township on October 9, 2025.
