19-Year-Old Lies to Protect Her Boyfriend Then Learning Her Lesson The Hard Way
On February 14th, 2024 officers were dispatched to the Grand Quay resort. In response to a verbal altercation. A female was heard screaming at a male in the parking lot.
At first, the 19-year-old claimed she was only trying to help her boyfriend and get him back to their hotel. She insisted she could barely remember what had happened and repeatedly tried to explain why she believed he was responsible.
But as officers began speaking with witnesses and examining the injuries, her story started to change.

Was she genuinely trying to protect someone she cared about? Did the officers make the right decision based on the evidence available to them? And could this entire situation have been avoided if everyone had simply walked away?
