On March 26th, 2025, deputies responded to a reported fight between two patients at a nursing home. When they arrived, they saw one man holding another against the front desk. Deputies gave verbal commands, but the man refused to let go. Minor visible injuries were noticed during the encounter. To safely separate them, deputies deployed a taser. Viewer discretion is advised. Hey, what's going on? Let him go. Let him go. You better let him go. You better let him go. Hands behind your back. Doing that. Hands behind your back. How do you like that? All right. We're not going to keep doing this crap. You understand? I'm curious as to why he's changed, not him. We're trying to figure it out. If someone's holding on to someone else and we're giving they're not letting go, we have to do what we got to do. If he's not letting that guy go, what am I supposed to do? Because he was holding. It doesn't matter. If I tell him to let him go, he needs to let him go. Not that he let go. He had his arm. These people don't understand who are anyway. That's why you bring him everywhere in the house. Okay. From what I seen, he had him from behind me and wouldn't let him go. And that's Paul and body cam. That's why we got cameras. What's your name? What's your name? What's going on? What happened to me? He went up on people and they had changed his room. I had a problem. I messed up something roomate. No, someone else's roommate, but he swung on me. He got all tough and swung on me. Uhhuh. You've been drinking. Look at where I'm at. I'm asking a yes or no question. No. Okay. What's going on? What's going on? What's going We have medics coming. We have medics coming. We have medics coming in. They were standing by because of this going on. And what? Oh my god. You know. Hey. Yeah, I got it. All right. All right. What's What What happened on? Did you see anything? [Music] No. Okay. So, this man has Okay. He is in conflict with his former roommate. The former roommate who's outside apparently told Bob that they were having an altercation. He wasn't going to fight man to man. We're not talking a man take care of business on his own. He a punk. He a punk me to feel that. I I understand that but I I based on what I see from what I've told from several people. Yes. going at the party. This one approached him and started fighting him. So, he had to defend himself. When you all walked in, it's because he had his arm against his head, telling everybody, "Am I wrong? I'm going to break his arm. So, he couldn't let him go because he was holding him." He kept swinging. He didn't swing. He had him in the headlock for the longest time. Um, do you guys have video of the dining room when No, we don't have But we have several They were having a party and the staff was there. Yes. Okay. Okay. Had his mother. I had his mother. He had his mother. And what it takes a punk. I had his mama. So, so maybe his gentleman said, "Hey, he's got my arm and he can't let go." Then maybe my figure all all of it out. There you go. We got medics coming. We're not going anywhere right now. When you ask me like that, everybody's getting handcuffed. Everyone's getting a handicap right now. Have a seat. Actually, sit on the ground. I can't sit on the ground. I got broken legs. It's my own place. All right. Well, then just stand there. I understand. Several times. That's why you do your job. I respect your job. Hey, Captain. How you doing? This gentleman got a deployment. So, yeah. Yeah. If you guys want to just check his vitals for me. I just have him in the recovery position. I don't know if you can get up or not. All right. So, he fell in the ground pretty good. Okay. Yeah. We weren't sure if we're going to the other side. Oh, the immigration side. Oh, yeah. Know now it's just it's always this place. They got no control over the people. What's his name? What's Roffus? Yeah. How you feel? Okay. You want to sit up? Yes, I would. Do you want to sit up? Yes, I will. Chair chair. Oh, bad your legs. Am I standing or you arrested? You're triggering it out. I'll I'll let you know. Can you pat him for me, please? Before I put him in my car. How long you been here? Two and a half once. I got hit up just this day and broke my legs. We'll get rescued also. Yeah. Yeah, we'll get them checked out. It's open. Hang on one second for me before you sit down there. Do you have anything sharp on you? We put big guys in that thing. Turn it off. is co. I didn't use it there. Is that the top? How you feeling? Yeah. Feeling better. Yeah. You have a headache or anything? No. No. What happened between you and this other other dude? What happened? You know what happened? No. Why didn't you let go when I told you? I was telling you, let him go. All you kept repeating was what I was I I said what's going on. All you kept repeating was what's going on. What's going on? You weren't. I told you let him go. You won't let him go. Why? The police tell you to do something. You got to do it. You know what I mean? Yeah. Otherwise, we have behavioral, you know, mechanisms that we're going to change your behavior real quick. They're saying he's not acting like himself. So, I'm going to get arrested from Yeah. Yeah. Trust me, I've been I've been tased a couple times and I tell you what, it'll change your behavior real quick. That's for sure. I know that wasn't fun, was it? I've done it twice so far. Sucks. I need a dude. You're sure going to get that. You're going to get a piece of that. [Music] Listen, you know, all the negative talk that goes around the whole thing. So the uniformation first, he was the one being held, not Bob. And when she asked him, "Has he been drinking?" They go out and they panhandle all day and drinking drugs and come back. He approached him. Mhm. He wasn't bothered. I get it. But here's here's the thing. And it's on my camera. I've told him what at least two or three times to let him go. And he No, I know. But if he was being held, he could have said, "I can't." Okay. I can't see that. The way they're bent over, I can't see that. All I see is he's got him wrapped around behind him, right? Bob was holding his arm under the cabinet from the ankle I'm at. I can't see. I hear you. So I come in because the phone say that I understand you come into a situation you don't know. I don't know anything. So but I tell you what what I did today is I I stopped the aggressive behavior between both of them and now we don't have this issue. So now he's probably going to end up getting me corrected. Then that's the that's what we're probably end up doing because he he can't even take him away. And his sister just called and said we're good here. He's going to get baked. He is going to get mentally checked out, but he's also going for resistance. Okay. So, but give me something. I need Yeah, I'm going to fill out the paper. You give me everything. Yeah, I'm giving you my business card as I always do. Thank you. I always give you my business card. You probably already got 20. All right, let's go. What's going on? You came in active commands taser effective. Yeah, he had the other guy the other guy around the waist from behind and I was like, "Hey, let him go, man." I said, "Hey, what's going on? Let him go." And all he kept repeating was, "What's going on? What's going on?" Completely refusing to uh obey my commands. So, I was like, "All right." Tas. took the ride. And that, like I said, that ended the violent confrontation all together. Taking him out of here in a stretcher. What's up? They're taking him out in a stretcher. Um, I'm not sure. They got their own protocols. Probably because he got the taser, so they need medical attention after that. So, this guy should not be in this facility. What's up? He shouldn't be in the facility. Everybody has their own reasons why they're in a facility like this. Yeah. This isn't a place for people to be mental or violent. What the are they doing? What are you doing? Oh my [ __ ] god. Where am I going? The am I still in here for? What the am I doing here? You okay? No, I'm not. You just adjusting? What's the problem? I want to know why my stuff was brought inside. They throw everything away here. This is the most corrupt place in the world. Well, you have to go to the hospital. No, I don't need to go to the hospital. He needed to go to the hospital. I denied to go to the hospital. No, but he's going to the hospital. No, I don't need to. I need to get my medication in here. I'm already 20 minutes over. He was the one acting crazy, not me. Think I need a freaking hospital. I'm not going to the hospital. Oh. Um, can you let me help, please? You just brought my stuff in there, but they throw everything away. Okay. So, let me explain to you, Bob. So, my boss is here, and because you were fighting in a public area, you are going to go to jail. What do you mean? He swung on me. Okay. Well, you can't find in public. So, that's just where we're at. So, yeah, I did give your stuff that I put What about him? He's not going to jail. He is going Everybody's going to jail. He's going to jail, too. We're going to the hospital first. I don't need to go to the hospital. I understand that. So, I'm going to be have need bail. Yeah. I don't have money for bail. I live in a nursing home. Do you have Do you have um a a criminal history? No. Serious? No. No. Okay. So, this is a misdemeanor. Yeah, but I have no money for bail. Okay. Well, you just spend a couple hours and they'll probably let you out. They they base it off of your criminal history. So, if this is your first time getting arrested or if you haven't been arrested for anything serious, you just have to stay there a couple hours and then how do I get back? They'll give you a bus pass and then I got charges. I have to go to court. Just take me to the jail, please. So, I get out. my boss. I have to follow the orders and we have to go to the uh the whole uh to the hospital first and then we go to the jail. Trust me, I would rather go to the jail first because the hospital is a waste of time. It is a waste of time. But so isn't arresting me. I'm sorry. So isn't arresting me. Well, you can't you can't fight in public. He swung on me. I understand that. Then what are you supposed to do? You could tell a staff member and we get involved and we could arrest him just for smacking or punching you. Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous. He got a mental guy in a place like that. I I don't know. I'm of sane of mind. I don't know his medical history. He already assaulted somebody else and you're going to arrest me. And I'm leaving here. I would leave there, too. Doesn't seem like they Yeah, but I'm leaving this town. I don't live here. What are you doing here? I broke my legs. Oh, okay. This is the last thing I need. Charges for crazy old dude. Who presses the charges? The state. The state spreads the charges on me. Yep. Can't fight in a public place. You could have let that go. It's not It's not up to me, Bob. I got bosses. You could talk to my boss if you if you don't agree. He don't give a [ __ ] Right behind me. So, he don't give a [ __ ] He wouldn't have done this. ridics. God damn it. And Boston, you're allowed to fight in public. Yeah. Really? That stupid little [ __ ] the guy swinging on me. They don't care about that. This is all [ __ ] I've never been to Boston, but I know that every state has their own um law. I bet problems and key webs just let it go. You know, he you don't arrest a guy with broken legs over a guy that was acting like a lunatic. Well, they're [Music] both takes two. If I can't get bailed out, I'm screwed. If you don't have a a serious criminal history, Bob, you don't have any problem getting out. I promise you that based on your criminal history, so you haven't been arrested for anything. I've been arrested. You've been arrested before? Yeah. TW County, huh? In Palm Beach County? No. No. Never here. Okay. So, we're talking about Palm Beach County. I know. They don't even know me here. Yeah. I know. And so, you have no criminal history here. All right. You'll be all right. It's a misdemeanor. It's a minor misdemeanor. But I have to come back for it. Yeah. It's 250 mi. Well, when are you leaving? When am I leaving? Yeah. Probably the minute I get back. I'm done with that place. And you only been there 2 months? Yeah. I just want this over with. Guy swings on me and I get [ __ ] arrested. Come on. It's completely wrong. The guy was acting out of his mind. Yeah, I ran my mouth a little bit. I wasn't acting crazy. I'm not the one that got tased. Totally wrong. Realize that I'm how broken I am. All right, we're going to get you out. Whatever. [Music] All right, let's get this over with.
