I CAN'T BREATHE. >> A ROUTINE CUSTODY HEARING TURNS INTO chaos when an attorney challenges the judge, accuses the court of targeting him for being transgender, and is ultimately taken to the floor and arrested inside the courtroom. But, the story didn't end there. This happened on February 5th, 2026 in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. Attorney Rob Hopkins was representing a client who failed to appear for a custody hearing while an active warrant was reportedly outstanding. What begins as a disagreement over the case quickly escalates as Hopkins repeatedly challenges Judge Lori Jackson, claims he is being treated differently because he is transgender, and continues arguing after being warned about direct contempt. Following the incident, Hopkins closed [music] Hopkins Law and Associates. Then, on April 27th, 2026, the Oklahoma Supreme [music] Court formally suspended Hopkins from the practice of law, ordering him to notify his clients [music] and withdraw from pending cases.
