The suspect has four legs, no identification, and absolutely no [music] intention of answering questions. On November 25th, 2025, an officer with the Little Elm Police Department encountered a loose goat grazing dangerously close [music] to traffic. After a brief roadside investigation, the cooperative suspect was taken into custody and placed in the back of the patrol vehicle. But before transporting [music] him, the officer made sure this unusual detainee understood his rights. >> Dude. Hey. Hey, goat. Goat. Hey. Where do you live? Little goat guy. Hey, look at this. Look how cool this car is. Get in the car. Yeah, that's good. That's a good goat. Come here. Go. Hey. Go. Come here. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Come here. Come here. Hey. Hey. Come here. Get in the car. No. You're not going to ram me. We're not doing that. [music] No. Bad. Go. Bad. Go. Go in there. Yeah. Let's go for a ride. You have the right to have a lawyer present to advise you prior to and during questioning. If you are unable to employ a lawyer, you have the right to have a lawyer appointed to advise you prior and during any question. And you have a right to terminate the interview at any time. Thankfully, neither the officer nor the goat was injured during [music] the arrest. The suspect was eventually released to his owner. Although police encouraged a quick pickup before he ate [music] the incident report, no charges were filed, but the suspect may think twice before grazing outside the law again.
