A Little Elm police officer finds a loose goat grazing beside a busy road—then coaxes the four-legged suspect into his patrol car and reads him his rights. The November 25, 2025 bodycam encounter ends with patience, grass, voluntary compliance, and one unforgettable police transport. The goat initially investigates the front seat before accepting a ride in the back of the cruiser. Once safely detained, the unusually cooperative passenger remains silent, continues eating, and is eventually reunited with his owners. Although lighthearted, the encounter demonstrates how an officer calmly resolved an unexpected roadside hazard while keeping the animal and passing motorists safe.
