business ultimate gymnastics of gurnie was closed and the officer did not recognize the vehicle based on previous patrols the officer drove his squad car behind the white 2016 Nissan Maxima and approached the vehicle on the driver's side as his investigation begins after the officer failed to make contact with the suspect he returned to his squad car to position the vehicle directly behind the suspect's car in case she released her foot off the brake pedal with the car in Reverse he then attempted to make contact with the suspect again ma'am man wake up hey put the car in park put the Condell Immediate Care Center for Medical evaluation while there the suspect was read the Illinois warning to motorist form which she did not sign so Daniela is it okay if we get some blood or urine to test what your levels are at is that I need you to use words I need to say yes or no no no okay so you're refusing to give blood or urine following the refusal the suspect Daniela was held by the hospital staff for further testing the blood alcohol concentration of the suspect yielded 215% and in court she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or DUI on June 28th 2022 1 year 6 months and 9 days after the arrest Daniela pled guilty to A reduced charge of reckless driving along with a $2,500 fine she was ordered to pay a total of $3,125 this amount has been paid in full she was sentenced to Z zero days in jail conditional discharge for 12 months maintain employment must not possess illegal drugs or cannabis no bars or taverns no alcohol consumed must not be where alcohol is sold no driving and ordered to attend DUI school one year after the reduced core action Daniela completed all the terms of her conditional discharge and the reckless driving was disposed as terminated satisfied this means that she was not convicted victed of any offense involving the incident
