On October 10th, 2024, Ham Tramik Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for disregarding a solid red light and not displaying a registration plate. As officers conducted their traffic stop, they would have no way of knowing that the driver was about to set in motion a series of events that would ultimately devastate a family and a community. Please note, the initial contact with the driver was not captured on bodywn camera. >> I'm secure. Can you run the template? Charlie 74407. What's up? >> Uh, sharing a red light on Hullbrook and Gallagher. Doesn't have a driver license, no registration, nothing at all. Does have a template. I was able to see it, so I'm just running it. I'm going to have her step out. Two other people in the park. >> All right, man. So, I'm going to have you step out cuz you don't have a date of birth in there. So, what's your date of birth for? >> Yep. because I don't know who you are at this moment. So, as soon as I have information, then you can come back. >> Okay. You'll have to step out for a second. Okay. >> I don't feel comfortable stepping on my vehicle. Can you talk my data, my post, whatever you need, but I don't feel comfortable. >> Hey, I'm talking to her right now. I can't talk for three people at the same time. All right. So, I'm talking to her right now. The driver, I don't need you guys to interfere. Thank you. I appreciate it. >> Okay. >> All right. All right. Sounds good to me. But you have to put the window down.
