But, at this point you're under arrest. Okay? SO. >> DECEMBER 22ND, 2025 AT 5:05 a.m. A concerned father calls 911 about his pregnant daughter. Her boyfriend, 26-year-old Eduardo Trejo de Arcos, had allegedly been threatening her with a knife. >> 911, what is the address of your emergency? >> Um I can't remember the address of my emergency, but you guys should have it online already. It's It's my daughter who I'm calling for. >> Okay, does sound so familiar? >> Um I think so. And her boyfriend, his name is Eddie Trejo. >> What's going on? >> Um well, my daughter's pregnant right now and she just called me right now and said that um her and Eddie are arguing again. And she asked if I could go over there and I Last time I spoke to the officers, they told me not to go over there, you know. And so that Now she just texted me says, "He is threatening me. Um maybe you should call the cops, too." So I was like, "Okay, I'll call the cops." So that's why I'm calling you guys right now. >> So he's currently threatening her how? >> Um that's what she said on her text. She's like, "You should call the cops because he's threatening me." Because I think what she wanted to do was wanted me to go over there. Either to pick her up or help her come over to my place or something. But I'm sure how he is, he's probably threatening like, "If you leave, this and this and that's going to happen." That's what I'm thinking. >> Okay, and you don't have her address? >> Let me see if I can look it up cuz I remember getting it, but let me look it up real quick, okay? >> Okay, what was her name again? >> Yes. >> And what was her boyfriend's name? >> Um Eddie Trejo or Edgar Trejo. >> Do you happen to know his date of birth? >> What's that? >> Do you happen to know his date of birth? >> Um I don't actually. >> Okay. What about >> Uh hers is Uh yeah. No. >> Okay. Did you find her her address? >> That's what I'm looking for. Um the her mom sent me a text the first time this happened and she gave me the address, so that's what I'm looking for. Sorry, I don't have it memorized. Is that >> Well, we need to be able to have an address in order to send help for her. >> Yeah, I know. That's what I'm looking for right now real quick. >> What was your name, sir? >> My name is I'm her father. >> Okay. We're going to check on all of this information. >> It's >> Okay, is that Is there an apartment number or is that a house? >> It's a duplex or fourplex. >> Okay, what number she in? >> Hers is a I don't even remember the number, but the one at the very bottom left. I mean, I can head over there, too, when the you know, when the cops get there. So, that way if they need you know, which one it is, I can show it to them. >> And this is currently going on, correct? >> Uh yes, apparently because she just called me a brand new right now like I think at 5:00. >> Okay, is he physically hurting her? >> Like I said, I don't know. >> Okay. >> All I know is that she just texted me and said he's hurting her right now. >> And you said she called you about 5 minutes 5 10 minutes ago? >> Yeah, I looked at my phone right now. It says she called me at 4:57. And she texted me at 5 minutes ago, 5:05. Or 5:04, sorry. And like I said, last time I I went over there um because she's an adult, you know, and and she was drunk cuz it This is before she even got pregnant. >> Okay. For the past couple of days he's been intoxicated? >> Yeah, when she was intoxicated back then when she wasn't pregnant. This was like I think a year ago or last year, I don't remember. >> Okay. But what about Eddie? you. Could he be intoxicated? >> He could be because I know he smokes pot too. He's always had He's always had marijuana in the house. And he does have He does have concealed weapons on him, too. >> He has weapons? In the house? >> um Yeah, he has I think a handgun and a rifle, I think. And he I mean, he does smoke with marijuana, too, so I'm sure he probably has that, too. >> Okay. >> And like I said, the only reason I'm calling >> Okay, what is What is phone number? >> That's what I'm looking up right now. It's 208. >> Do you have any phone number by chance? >> No. I don't talk to him because we don't get along. >> Okay. Okay, we've got her address and her phone number. And we are sending officers out, okay? >> Okay, and like I said, the only reason >> Pardon? >> The thing is that the thing is like the only reason I'm calling you guys is because the last time I did that, I got pulled over by three officers asking if I was kidnapping her, and I was like, "No." She called me and told me to go pick her up because uh she's an adult. I have to call you guys for it because I got over >> So, are you going over there right now? >> Um well, yeah, but I'm not going to do it until you guys get there. So, I'll wait to talk to the officer first for me, >> Okay. So, I will make a note for them to give you a call once contact is made. It will be from a unknown or blocked number. >> That's fine. >> Okay, if you hear anything else or anything changes, please give us a call back. >> I will. >> Okay. Bye. >> Bye. >> 12 minutes later, Idaho Falls officer Eric Rose and his partner arrive on scene. Officer Rose is a 13-year veteran of the Idaho Falls Police Department. He is a firearms instructor and member of the IFPD SWAT team. What happens next will test every bit of that experience. >> Anything? >> Yeah. >> Officer Rose, Idaho Falls Police. >> Yeah. >> We had a call about some noise. >> Yeah, we were having an argument. >> Yeah? Can we come in and chat for a minute? >> Yeah, if you want to. >> Everything okay? >> Yeah, we were just having an argument over text messages and stuff. >> Okay. >> If we disturbed the neighbors and stuff, that's my fault. >> Uh-huh. Anything I mean, what kind of text messages? >> Um, just partner stuff, you know, like seeing stuff like that. We argued and I know it's 4:00 in the morning and stuff, so >> Well, it's >> Yeah. >> Yeah, yeah, it's 5:00. 5:20. Did you guys have any physical fight tonight? Any pushing or shoving, anything like that? >> No. >> Is it all right if we talk to her as well? >> over there. >> Okay. What's her name? Go for it. Hi, can I come in real quick? So, call this. Yes, she been texting him. What happened tonight? >> Um, he just been threatening me like all night and I haven't been able to sleep and I have to go to work late. And I have work and I just want to get my stuff. >> What do you mean? What What kind of threats? >> He pulled out his knife. >> Did he hold the knife and threaten you with it? Which knife? >> I don't know if he took out the other one. I don't know. >> So, what did he What was he doing like when he said that? >> He said something scary to me. >> He said like he was going to kill you? How was he holding the knife when he said [snorts] that? How was he holding the when he said that? How was he holding it? Was it like down here? Was it up here? >> Up here. >> Okay, but that >> What? >> He choked me like there by the bed. >> He choked you as well? Can I see your neck? >> [snorts] >> Did you ever have Look this way. Did you ever have trouble breathing? >> [snorts] >> Um On my phone I had like pictures of the like times that he's hit me and stuff, but he took my phone. He took my card out of it. >> He took your phone? >> Yeah. >> When did he take your phone? >> Like right after I texted my dad. >> Okay. >> And then I just put out my hand and he has he took my phone out there and he took a big machete knife. >> What? Tell me about this knife. What does it look like? >> It's really big and >> How big? Like this big? This big? >> Like this big. >> Okay. >> [snorts] >> It has like ridges on the sides of it. >> What color is it? >> Um like a silver metal color. >> Okay. And he took the phone away from you? Were you trying to call 911 when he did that? >> No, I was going to call my dad because I knew he wasn't going to let me call 911. >> Mhm. >> Um and then he told me that if it was my dad knocking on the door, then he would kill me. >> Just now he said that? >> That's why I thought that he had the knife out there him cuz he tucked it over there. >> Let me get your What's your first name? Spell that for me, please. What's your last name? Date of birth? And then your birthday? Okay. [snorts] >> I got to see her if she needs a ride home. >> Okay. Um based [snorts] on what she told me, he's not a legit guy. He pulled my hair. Choked her. So, I'm Um Can you go talk to him in the living room? See what he has to say. Um What was your What was the argument about? What was the reason? >> It like has been happening like all day, but like he was just like talking to other girls and stuff like that, and then he was trying to accuse me of doing things and but just like to like a whole other man >> Okay. >> And then he was going to throw all my stuff outside. That's right there. >> Okay. Was there any other like striking or hitting of any kind? >> No, just the pushing over there when he was choking and then he had the knife. >> And where were you at when he choked you? >> In that corner over there. >> How long ago was that? >> Um like 30 minutes. >> Was that before or the threat with the knife? >> No, that was the threat with the knife. >> Oh, that was at the same time. He was choking you and holding the knife. Was he using both hands when he choked you or was he using one hand? >> One cuz he had the knife in his hand. >> Okay. Okay, and you guys are married? >> We're engaged. >> You're engaged and your dad said that you're pregnant right now. >> Mhm. >> Is it his child? >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> But I just want to take my stuff and leave. >> Okay. I'm going to talk with him a little bit. Um but based on what you told me um right now I'm I'm planning on placing him under arrest. Um did you Did you hit him or scratch him or anything else when he was choking you or any other time from you or from him? >> Mhm. >> Okay. All right, hang tight here for a little bit, okay? Um tell me about the knife. >> Well, she said she was going to bring her dad over here and stuff. So, I was like, "He's going to just try to fight me." I threatened her that I'd kill her dad if he came over here, but that's about it. >> Okay. Did you threaten her with a knife at any point? Did you put your hands on her at any point? >> We pushed each other and stuff, yeah. >> Tell me about that. >> Well, I mean, it it's just cuz we're arguing and then like I'll get too close, she'll push me or I'll push her or something. >> Okay. Did you ever put your hands around her neck? >> What? No. >> Okay. Cuz I'm hearing a different story from her. >> No, I didn't put my hands on her neck. But I did push her. >> Okay.
