Want to tell me why you don't want to talk to David anymore? >> Cuz he's a bad person. Okay. He knows how to kill people. He knows how to hurt people. >> Why do you think that? >> He's told me I've seen him. Things I see that I don't even want to talk about. >> On April 17th, 2020 in Morehead, Minnesota, Ethan Martin Broad was brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Destiny Avery, who had died as a result of homicide. Spoiler details are in the video description and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> Do you think that those things are important for me to know though? >> It's hard to bring that stuff up. Okay. And I I get where you're coming from on that, Ethan. Um, if Andrew >> Last time I talked to you guys, he [ __ ] know my name and he threatened to watch my back. He's threatened me. He's done a lot of things to me. Last time I talked to you guys and the police, I don't trust you guys talking about him anymore. The people he knows you do not [ __ ] with. Okay? >> Like the next person that we be missing is me. >> Okay? >> That kind of people he hangs out with. Can you see why, Ethan, just so you kind of understand where I'm coming from, if you were that worried about that person and that person was in the same apartment that night, how that makes me think, oh, I should probably know about this. >> Crossed my mind, too. Ethan, >> I am not talking to you about him. Like, you do not talk to the police with him. I found that out the hallway. >> Wait, cuz he threatens you, you mean? Or like what are you saying? What do you mean by that? I'll tell you. If I tell you, my dad's not going to be here. >> Okay. >> Would you prefer to ask about a little bit of anything? Cuz I really think it's important you talk. >> Let's do that. >> Thank you, Robert. >> You ready for that? >> Yeah. >> This is a a key lock entry. So, okay. >> If you want to come back in or ask me a question, just knock on that door. Okay. >> You want to be right here? >> Uh, actually, I'll have you in the lobby. Yeah. Okay. >> Thank you. All right. Number one, just take a deep breath, Ethan. Okay. You're all right. You're safe. Okay. You're okay. Take a deep breath. You're okay. I'm not going to unless you can promise me my protection. >> Absolutely. Would never let anything happen to you, man. thing is is that I I think you know a little bit more about what's going on than you you want to tell me. I get that. But you care about destiny, right? Yeah. And I know that you seem like a really nice guy, good person, and we got to make sure we do what's right by destiny. Right. So, anything you know, how do you know? The last incident I tal to you about you guys is the place about he came over to my place one day and I was in the garage. Him and his roommate came and got off the bike. I said, "You're nice. I'm not allowed here." And because when I was talking to you guys, he pulled a knife on my and put it to my throat and says, "You keep talking about me and your parents and your family keeps talking about me. You're going to be solid." >> Okay. Do you remember his roommate? Who's that? >> Um, Andy, I think >> Andy. >> Is his last name Harris or something like that? >> I think so. Yeah. >> Okay. So kind of >> that's why I don't want to talk about him. >> I get it. And I'll certainly make sure that anything you tell me that is important that and if it doesn't revolve around this then it's he's never even going to hear about it. And if he were I would make sure that nothing going to happen to you. Okay. But if you know something about this, I gotta know. All I know is she was killed. That's all I know. Who? That's the name. How do you know that? How much of people told me who I don't even know the people that well group of people with David. So that's all I know. >> Okay. >> And the thing is they like you think and this is the thing is when he came back over one day and threatened me and that's why I stopped talking to that officer cuz I couldn't trust him anymore. >> Mhm. >> And stuff and he's like you think the cops can't find that body? You think they're going to find your body? >> Okay. Well, >> all I know is she was killed. That's all they told me. >> Who's they? >> Some members that David hangs out with. >> How did you meet them? >> Like, where were you when they told you this? >> At my place. >> Okay. Who else? >> Okay. Who else was there? The members. And then um somebody else that I don't I've never met and they just they David sent him over the scale. >> Why? >> Because I was talking about what about that body and stuff. >> Okay. And I I know that that was a pretty traumatic deal for you. Um but I got to focus on destiny. Okay. >> Mhm. And that's why I'm saying I I do all I know is she was killed. >> Okay. But Ethan, I got to know how you how who told you and not >> I don't know the people's names. >> Okay. >> They never told me their names. >> So, you're saying that you were hanging out in the garage? >> Yes. >> Do you know when that was? Hanza had nothing to do with it was sometime. Why do you say that? Cuz they told me cuz I I cuz um I talked to David and all those and they said Andrew wasn't even saying it. All I know is Destiny was going to go over there for a few days because of, you know, you know, we're going at it, you know, and stuff because of depression. And she's going to go over and talk to David for a few days. >> Okay. >> Over at his place. >> Yeah. >> Do you know where he lives? >> No, I don't. You guys, I guess have to talk to him a few times, so you know. >> I know where he lives. So he she told you that she was going to go stay with them for a few days >> and talk to him and then all I know was like Saturday was it late Saturday? Well, when I I think it was late Saturday after talking to you guys and I think it was like late Saturday I was out in the garage and they told me about it. What happened? >> Okay. who I know you don't know everybody, but it wasn't just strangers that walked up and told you this, right? You know, >> it was I don't know names. We never I was involved with stuff in the past. I told you guys about >> Mhm. >> but I quit talking to them. Look at my phone, you know. I stopped hanging out with them, you know. >> Mhm. And all I know is the same thing on his all I know is that um David sent these guys over. That's what they told me cuz I asked them who are you guys and they said all you need to know is David sent us over and they were going at it with me and stuff like that. And they said that well something about Destiny's body and this other person's body. >> Okay. >> And they said if you're gonna talk to the cops and stuff like that, it was the thing to scare me. >> Mhm. >> That they you would not be found. >> Okay. >> And that's why I don't want I don't know any of them. The only one I know is David. Okay. and Andy. >> Mhm. >> How long have you known David and Andy? >> Huh? >> How long have you known them? >> I known David for about now. I think it's about a year or two. >> How'd you meet him? >> Through Andrea's ex. >> Okay. So, tied kind of from Andrea. >> Oh, okay. Is Andrea dating David now? >> That's all right. Yeah, >> kind of. >> Well, it goes back and forth. Okay. >> Cuz on Friday night they were kissing in the hallway. >> Really? That's what >> I didn't know anything about it. >> That's what All I know is because she know she's not allowed being there if she's with D. >> Cuz you don't want David at the house. >> I don't want David at the house. >> It looked like he was coming back and forth from the apartment though. >> I wasn't home or I didn't know about it. >> No, I mean Friday night. >> Friday? >> Yeah, Friday night. I didn't know about it. Okay. >> And stuff I did not know about. I'm being honest about that. >> Okay. Okay. Like I said, you know, you you're telling me a lot more than you did the other day. Um or yesterday, I should say. But I think it's really really important that you tell me everything you possibly can right now because I can help you more right now than I can later if I find out that you were keeping stuff from me again. You know, I cuz I I want to be nothing but honest with you and I have been. But I need you to do that for me, too. Okay? Cuz you're the good person here, bud. You're the one trying to do the right thing. Right. You got to tell me everything you can. You got to be 100% honest. Dad, I can't help you if you're not honest with me. You're okay. You're safe, man. Just talk to me. Do you think I can tell there's something there that you want to tell me? >> She was killed in front of me. Yeah. Okay. By who? Baby, >> what happened? >> She's going through all that depression [ __ ] and me and David was talking to her and she wanted to leave, but we didn't want to leave because we were afraid of, you know, safety. >> Mhm. and she grabbed a pipe that was in my room um for self-defense and swung it at me. And that's when David attacked him. What did David do? Beat the [ __ ] out of him and stepped on the throat. Okay. Where was that at in the apartment? No more app. He uh told me that he needs my help and I said, "No, I'm not getting involved with this again." And that's when he was letting me. And then some of those guys came off with the back and they took the body away. And then that's when they said that to me, David and all that. They took it out of my through my window. >> Through your window? >> Mhm. In your bedroom. Okay. Was Andrea there? Mhm. Yeah. >> No, she was gone when this happened. She didn't come back till later. >> Where did she go? I was being honest person. Okay. So, not David, >> huh? Cuz I I thought David was there a while. You've been there that day. >> Mhm. Okay. Cuz they came over to talk for a little bit cuz that's what they wanted to know, too. >> Where is this blood in the apartment? >> Huh? There's no evidence of it. Are we sure? Anything's been bleached and coupled with paint. All right, let's kind of start back from the beginning. and tell me uh walk me through the whole day and what happened. Okay. What time did David come over? >> I don't even know what time it was. >> Was it morning, lunchtime, after lunch? >> My team didn't want him there anymore. So, um they didn't like him here there anymore. My parents didn't. So it was probably about um Andrew was at work all most of the day and so he came through one of the windows because Destiny needed I couldn't do it you know so I felt you know she wanted to talk to David then let's try it. >> Okay. She wanted to talk to David. >> So, >> okay. So, David came in through the window. Was it night time, daytime? >> I don't even know what time it was. I don't remember. >> Okay. >> What happened then? We were talking for a while and and stuff like that and she really wanted to leave and she popped some pills in mine and stuff like that and we didn't want to leave in because of that reason. >> Mhm. >> Cuz we didn't know if it was going to do anything to help. >> Okay. And um David kind of standing by the door and Destiny saw the pipe and Dustin picked up the pipe and says, "Let me go." and she swung the pipe at me and didn't hit me but swung the pipe at me and that's when David bounced though and the pipe went kind of down on the ground and he started beating the crap out a little and hitting him with the pipe. >> Where's that pipe now? >> It's gone. They took this little Okay. Where was she at? In the in the bedroom. Can you describe the location to me? >> All the parts that happen. >> Where in the bathroom? On >> the ground. So when it started was in the kind of by my door by the bedroom door. How did it make its way into the kitchen? >> Well, that was earlier when he was >> I'm sorry, not kitchen. Bathroom. >> Uh because she got up to try to lock the bathroom to get away. Okay. Then what? I just got out of the wheel. He started trying to choke out and stuff. Then he kept hitting her head and choking her out and [ __ ] And I was all blood. Okay. Then what happened? >> It's when his guys shoot stabbed. That's when guy his guys came over to the body. >> How did they know to come over? He called. Okay. And then what happened? >> That's when they were threatening me and stuff. If I spill anything this time, I will be killed. Okay. And that's why I involved telling you why you bother calling reporting missing. That's what I was told to do. By who? His guys. Okay. What do these guys look like? Mexicans. Cactus. I'm trying not to think back that night. So, I think you're doing your best to be honest with me with what is going on with what you know, but the best thing that I can do right now to prove that you're being 100% honest with me is to know where that body is. >> I don't know. Okay. >> There's no way to find the bodies. What they told me. >> Okay. As >> far as I know is they burn the bodies out in the field. >> How do you know that? >> They told me cuz I wasn't involved. >> Okay. And I'm not saying you were. Okay. >> All they told me is stuff from the past is what's going to happen in the past. >> Okay. So he's >> and David's curse told me about this piece of property that he owns. It's not in his name, but it's in some of his names, but it's he owns it. It has guns, drugs, to you name it. And that's where they run the bodies. >> Okay. Um, talk to me about what happened in the bathroom after they had removed the body. >> Huh? >> Talk to me about what happened in the bathroom after they removed the body. What? That was bleach and all kinds of [ __ ] going off. >> Who did that? >> Huh? >> Who did that? >> David, I was on my bed like crying. >> Okay. >> Shaking. Cuz the reason I bring this up is Ethan, I've been in your house. and walked through the whole apartment and didn't look to me like that bathroom had been cleaned recently. Right. >> That was It's been like it's like almost two weeks ago. >> Okay. A lot happened since then. You think? >> Yeah. Okay. >> Cuz we smoke and then we chew and then we do a lot of things in >> I can ask my dad. I can clean my place and by the next day it looks dirty again. Okay. Does Andrea know what you told me? >> No. >> Yeah. >> You guys seem real close. >> Just things that we keep away from. >> Why? >> Cuz we don't want to go down for it. Why would you? You, like you said, you didn't do anything. She didn't do anything. >> We didn't want her going to know about it. >> I was involved. So, I thought, you know, with being there, you're not calling for help. >> All of a sudden, >> I I just bring it up, Ethan, just because anything you can that can corroborate what you're telling me that, you know, I talked to, let's say, Andrea, and Andrew goes, "Yeah, he told me that this happened, and you know, we didn't know what to do." Then that proves that you're being honest with me, right? Mhm. >> That's why it's okay if you told somebody that it's it's a good thing. If anything, it helps you. >> You know what I mean? Does that make sense? >> Andrea doesn't know anything. She knows that I told her. >> Okay. And what are those problems? >> That Destiny was killed. Okay. >> But she doesn't know anything else. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um I think it's important you know your dad is a very important person to you right he's very um influential in your life and helps you through all these hard times and I think this is probably a very hard time right you think it's a good idea that we kind of let him know what's going on he's going to make a difference of I don't think he will, bud. I think he's going to be worried about his son. You can't be held accountable for other people's actions, man. That's not your fault. Yeah. >> Ethan, do you think there's anything in your apartment right now that you could point out to me to say this is important or this was involved or anything like that? >> If wasn't there? Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I don't trust what I know. She put David. >> Okay. Well, I I don't know that that's David. You said Brandon and I thought you meant David. So, that could be this Brandon guy. Um, Brandon's kind of like my height. David's kind of like my should height. >> David didn't. This person didn't seem that tall, I assume. >> Yeah, that's not Brandon cuz Brandon's like my height. >> Okay. Okay. So, and I know I kind of been having a feeling that they've been talking and going back and forth. >> Right. What do you if we get Andrea to leave the apartment? What do you think you can show me that's going to states? >> Okay. Okay. Um, and you don't want to talk to your dad about what's going on? >> I will. >> You do? Okay. Give me one second here. Okay. What I'm going to do is uh can I put a different place? Absolutely. Go ahead. So, now relax a little bit. >> Is that your phone? >> It is. Yeah. Okay. I'm just going to call my partner down here real quick. just because I'm going to step out and talk to your dad briefly. >> I don't have anything. I will hit myself or anybody. >> I know, but I know that you're this is very emotional for you and I want you to have somebody with you in case. >> Okay. >> Can you just let me tell my dad, not you? >> H >> Can you let me tell my dad what happened? >> Absolutely. >> Not you. Hey, Sergeant. Can you swing down? >> Can you swing down? I'm in interview room five. >> Just come on in. >> Yes. I'm going to jail. Am I? No. No matter what happens today, not going to jail. Okay. But I again, I got to I got to verify all the stuff you're telling me, right? I got to figure out all this stuff. There's a lot of things to do, right? >> Yeah. They got to point me. That's the sign. That's what they really good at. >> Okay. >> I help them out and then I get the fall. >> Okay. So the most important thing is like I said I I can help you but I got to know or rethink every little thing. So if there's even you feel like oh man I did tell Andrea a certain thing or maybe anything at all not even just Andrea just something I got to know it because I'm trying to think. Okay. Do you remember what pills um Destiny took that day? Description. Hey, >> Ethan. This is um Detective. He's my partner. >> Um he's just going to hang tight with you real quick. I do kind of want to touch him up for where we're at right now. >> That's all right. >> Um Ethan's talked with us a little bit. Um his dad is here. >> Okay. >> Dad stepped outside because this portion he to share with us. He uh didn't feel comfortable saying in front of dad. So >> uh he said that a friend of his, David was over. Um Destiny had taken some pills and wanted to leave and they were worried about her and didn't want her to leave. She had picked up a pipe and swung it at at Ethan and David snapped, jumped on her and go ahead and tell me what was it. eat the crap out of the wall and with the pipe. And um then she tried to get then he stopped and he went to the she went r went to the bathroom to try to lock the door and he pushed the bathroom and it was like trying to choke her out and um and stuff like that. And then that's when he pulled a knife and stabbed on the throat. Okay. So he said then David called his friends um whom were Mexicans with tattoos >> and they removed the body from the apartment by his window from his bedroom. Um he says Andrea the neighbor the she kind of lives there correct. She's basically a roommate was not there during that time but does know in fact that he told her Destiny had been killed. Um, but the there's no the pipe is gone. He said the knife is gone and they bleached and painted the apartment. So, that's kind of where we're at right now. He would like uh to tell his dad what's going on. Um, but he wants to tell him in his own words. Okay. So, that's kind of where we're at right now. Who bleached and painted the apartment? >> David did the bleaching. I did the painting. Can you stand there watching? >> Okay. And just the bathroom? >> No, the bedroom and the bathroom just to make sure there was nothing else. >> Okay. And where did you guys get the paint at? Huh? >> I had it. Okay. >> Cuz I was going to paint my place in noise when I moved out. >> Okay. What color did you paint it? >> The same color just like this. Okay. >> The walls. >> Okay. >> And he said he does not know where the body would be and that David would have taken care of all of that. So, >> okay. And who's David? >> It's a person I met through his ex. >> Okay. Have you been to his house? >> No. I was there one time picking up I think my bike. See, he has my bike. I was picking something up as mine. So, he has the laptop. Stephanie's laptop. >> How do you know that? >> Take it. >> What about the rest of your stuff? >> Do you know where her suitcase is? for all that stuff they took into in a dumpster. Which dumpster? It's gone by now. >> Okay. The ones by your house. Okay. There's one right on the north side of your place and there's one a little bit farther from there. Do you remember which one? It's the one across the screen. >> Okay. Okay. Do you mind if we step out real quick? You going to be okay in here? Okay, just hang tight. We'll be right back with you. Hey buddy, you okay? So Sergeant Cone, the one you just talked to, he's getting another partner of mine. This is just going to take a lot more than just me. >> That's kind of what we're doing for right now. >> Okay. Does that song make you feel a little better? >> Okay, >> Michael. >> Yeah. >> Right this way, please. >> What can I do for you today? >> I just need something to take this edge off and I'll be on my way. >> Well, I can't just give them to you. >> [ __ ] Why not? Take a seat. Have a little chat. >> I'm such a [ __ ] waste of achievement. I should put the strength into my brain and squeeze it. I know I sleep. All I ever did was put everybody first. I just don't feel [ __ ] >> Talk to me. Good breath. You're okay. You're safe. You're safe, Ethan. Go ahead. Talking about it. What happened? That's the dude. >> Ethan, everybody makes mistakes, bud. Okay. >> Yeah. This is going to make my life hell. >> This doesn't make you a bad person, okay? Everyone makes mistakes, bud. I don't think you're a bad person. You're here talking to me trying to do the right thing, right? That makes you a good person. Everyone makes mistakes, bud. Okay. Okay. Okay. Take that. You're safe here with me, right? I got this bottle. It's an empty. >> Yeah. Go ahead. Sorry. Okay. Can you keep that one? Okay. Anything else you think is important you want to tell me? I want to help you, bud, but I got to know everything you know. >> Show you where the container is. No, bud. >> The what? >> The container. >> What container >> that we put our body in? >> Is it still there? Is in the garage. Where at the garage? >> Some old stuff is in there, too. >> Where in the garage? >> Yeah. On my workbench. >> On the workbench. Is it a big container? >> Okay. Do you have your garage door opener? >> No. Where's it at? >> In the house. >> In the coat. >> Mhm. >> Got a long hair right on the nose on the chin. That's how those things go. Thank you for for talking to me about what's going on today. Okay. >> It takes a lot of hard. >> Does my dad know what's going on? >> No. Like you said, you want to tell him, so I want I want to give you the opportunity to tell him. Okay. >> There's going to be a lot of blood in that container, by the way. >> Okay. >> Cuz I chopped up the body. >> Okay. Who did? If you had to do it, that's okay. You just got to tell me. Yeah. Okay. I didn't want to. Trust me. But I've seen what he did to me. I don't want it happening to me. Okay. Take a deep breath, buddy. Okay. You're safe. So, when did you move it out? >> Same night. Same night. Okay. So, what time do you think this happened? Was it around that 1 and 2 o'clock time or was it closer to the Friday night? The night of Friday, not know 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. It's like Friday night. Don't cry. I was up and stuff and then she went to work and all that [ __ ] and then I'll be right back with you. Okay. >> Hey mom, I love you. Sorry. >> I love you, too. So, what happened? Did you hurt Destiny? Oh, Ethan. Ethan, >> is your is your dad there? >> He stepped out to the stuff that I told him. >> He what? >> I had him step out of the stuff that I told him. Okay. So, what is what happened? >> She's dead. >> Hey, Ethan. >> Ethan, >> can we talk to you, bud? I got to go. Mom, just let go. I'm fine. >> Okay. I am very confused. Okay, I'll talk to you later. >> I talk later when I can. >> Okay, I'll talk to you later. Bye. >> Bye. >> All right, Ethan. Um, I know we've kind of been talking about all this stuff for quite a while today. Um, but being that we've kind of putting everything out on the table now, I got to start from the jump from the beginning and get a full complete detailed statement from you. Okay? So, I want you to do me a favor and just take some deep breaths. >> I don't know. >> Just know just take some breaths. Okay, take some deep breaths and we won't we'll wait until we calm down a little bit and then we'll start talking a little more. What happened to you on my news? Well, I think it was last Friday. They told me cuz the body was in my garage and his guy stopped doing stuff for him for whatever reason. >> So, he told me, "Put the body in the dumpster." >> Okay. Did you? >> Okay. Well, how come you told me just a little bit ago it's in the garage? That's where the container where she was at. >> Okay. The container still there? >> Mhm. >> Was there any blood in the container? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Okay. Let's start from the beginning, Ethan. Okay. Talk to me about Friday. Talk to me about when you woke up on Friday and what you did that day. >> Me and Destiny, I woke up. and does work going out of it and I was kind of auto depression and then she had to go to work and um she just kind of was going at it with me all day a little bit off and on and she fell asleep for a while and we were going at it again. >> Do you remember exactly what you guys were saying? >> It was about to depression. She was, you know, she wanted all these things and she wanted to leave and all this and that. And I said, you know, leave then if you want to leave and it was a whole ugly side coming out, the depression side and there's a whole bunch of [ __ ] She's talking about herself. She's talking about all this. Oh [ __ ] it's my mom. I didn't know this. And I was going to go back and forth. She wanted to talk to David. So they came over and we talked for a little bit and stuff and then they were talking for a little bit and we thought of going my chest thing with my meds. We thought I was going in my chest with my meds and she was taking it was kind of late and she was taking prescriptions of mine. But do you remember what they were? They were just bottles. I didn't see what it was. Could you put them down? >> Do you know what prescriptions you have? >> Um, migraine stuff, sleeping meds to some psych meds. Okay. >> What do you take for psych meds? Alo. >> I'm used to what I call taking side effects. >> What was the hall for? >> Uh, depression. What do you do with my depression? Do you have any other diagnosises? Uh yeah. So I can't think of a big one by learning disability or something else. I can't think of the big one. >> Okay. >> Okay. So >> that's okay. So Friday you guys are going at it a little bit right about her depression. >> Mhm. >> And this is at night. It was kind of full today. >> Say again. >> It was kind of for the day. >> Okay. All right. So, what time do you think David got over? >> It was probably, I don't know, 1:00 in the afternoon. 2:00 in the afternoon. >> 1:00 in the afternoon or two. >> Okay. >> And what happened then? Um, they were talking for a little bit and then they were talking a little bit and stuff and then like, you know, then I went back there to talk with her and then they were we thought she was fine and then David were talking in my room and then when we came out was all taking pills out of my taking pills out of my to chest. Okay. partner, would you mind doing me a favor? That jacket is his dad's. He's sitting out in the lobby. Can you just hand that to him? Just his jacket so we don't have to hear it ringing. >> Wonder maybe we should just keep >> Okay. >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Is that I can grab that phone and just shut it off so it stops ringing. You know what I do? >> Yeah. It's my mom trying to get one of my dad. I don't want this phone to keep ringing. I don't want to go out there and keep talking here. Okay. So, you said uh Destiny and David were talking and we're talking about David Ernold, right? >> And what happened then? And um kind of got ugly from now and we didn't want her to leave. She wanted to leave more and more and more. And that's when it kind of got ugly. And that's when she got the fight. >> Now, did this conversation with her and David that turn into this argument, did it start in the living room or was it in the bedroom? Where did this all happen? >> My room downstairs. Okay. >> Where were you in your room? >> On my bed. >> On the bed. Okay. And where was David? >> Kind of by the door. >> Okay. Why was he by the door? >> Because he wanted to wave. >> Was he blocking the door? Okay. And Destiny, where was she at? >> She was kind of in the closet area. That's when she saw the pipe. >> Okay. What's the pipe look like? >> Um pipe that was gone is all was in the dumpster when I blew the body. >> Okay. What's it look like though? >> It's just a metal pipe in the thing. >> How long do you think it is? It's probably that long. >> Okay. >> Is it threaded? >> Um, yeah. >> Both ends. Just one. Both ends. >> Mhm. >> Okay. All right. So, they're arguing by the door. And you're This was at 1 or two when the day we came over or I don't even know what time it was. >> I don't know who it was. >> Yeah. I got you. >> I want to say it's Julio. >> Okay. All right. So, it's night time or is it daytime still when this is taking place? >> It was getting late at night. >> Okay. Do we think it was like like close to midnight or was 10? >> 8 or 9. >> 8 or 9. >> Okay. It was getting dark out. >> Getting dark out. Okay. >> All right. So, this argument starts in the bedroom. Mhm. >> What happens at when she picks the pipe up and she came at me with it. >> Okay. You while you were on the bed? >> Mhm. >> How come you? >> Because I started getting up. >> Okay. What happened then? She swung it at me. >> When she swung it at you, do you remember if she swung it right-handed, left-handed? >> I don't remember. I was left-handed. >> Did it hit you? >> No. I was able to stop it with my hand. >> How so? I grab it. >> Like that. >> Okay. What happened then? >> Grabbed it and I threw it down on the ground. Okay. Then what? >> That's when David started attacking him. >> Okay. Tell me what happened. >> Um, he just started attacking all. She was on the ground, you know, screaming and stuff, asking me for my help and stuff and I was just shaking. He was beating up and hitting all and stuff and hit with the pipe a few times. And then he saw blood and that's when he stopped and that's when she went to the bathroom. She locked the door. That's when it got on wheel. Okay. When he initially started to attack her, did he was he throwing punches? How did she end up on the ground? >> Just I think he pulled her to the ground. Just pulled her to the ground. He pulled her to the ground and that's when she tried to bend herself when he pulled her to the ground and kicked her kicking him and this and that and that's when he jumped out and started punching in the face and whole bunch of things hitting off the pipe and trying to choke her out. >> Okay. >> So he pulled her to the ground and she was kicking up at him. Is that what you're saying? >> Yeah. And you said he was punching her. >> Mhm. Do >> you remember both hands? One hand? >> I think it was both hands. Okay. What? And she started to bleed. >> I think it was some of the piping hitting on the head. >> Okay. >> Do you remember where? >> I think it was like top of the head. >> Okay. >> Remember, right? >> And he let her up or how did how did that happen? >> When he saw the blood, that's when he stopped. >> Did he say anything? >> All he said is [ __ ] >> Okay. And then what? And that's when she tried to go to the bathroom and that's when go ahead and head to the bathroom again. >> Okay. >> So >> when she went to the bathroom, did you see any other injuries than what you thought was on top of the head? >> No. So I saw this blood coming down on her face. So >> So was she trying to close the door or did did she actually get the door shut? No. >> No. How did he get in? >> He was able just to push it, open up his foot in his body. Okay. And what happened then? >> That's when he got over kill. So in the head and the toe, you name it. All that stuff took out suffocator. And then when it was done, he pretty much But a knife to us with hope. >> Okay. I I want you to try to walk me through what happened in there step by step so I can see it play out like a movie. Okay. I got to be able to understand exactly what happened cuz you mentioned the toilet thing and you didn't tell me that before. I don't know if we can keep doing this. Just take a breath. You okay? I think it I can't do it. All I know is he was pushing though in the like hitting her repeatedly with his fist and stuff and grabbing his hand around her neck when she was on. At first he got in there and she was trying to defend herself and that's when he was grabbed over by a hail and started hitting on she fell again. And that's when he put her head into the toilet and then she started turning blue and then um cuz when she got when he let her go and she fell and started to blue and then that was it and then she started coming to a bit and that's when the the fighting started happening in the shower. >> What do you mean? And that's when the fighting started happening in the show. And they started fighting and all this and that in the show on the ground hitting on kicking on all this and that and then she wasn't really moving anymore. That's when he put a knife. >> Where did this knife come from? >> He had it. >> Okay. Do you remember what it looked like? >> It's like a pocketk knife. Cool. >> Was it What color do you think? >> Like a wood handle. wooden handle. >> I think it was just like a handle that is made out of wood in itself. >> Okay. >> What color was the blade of it? >> Uh several. >> Okay. >> And this is in the shower that this has happened. >> Mhm. >> I was trying to tell him to stop. >> Okay. Because I told him like, you know, everything has happened right now in self-defense cuz she went at me with the pipe. >> Mhm. >> And I told him to stop and he wouldn't stop. >> Okay. Did you try to intervene at all? >> No. Where were you? >> Um, I was over by the hall when that fighting started happening in the show and that's when I went to my bed, started shaking and crying. Okay. So he took a knife out that you said he had on on him. >> And what did he do with it? >> Stab. >> Do you remember where? >> Right here. >> Okay. Do you mean like a cut or do you mean a stab? >> A stab and a cut. >> Stab and a cut. Okay. Were they done right after each other or >> Okay. Which one was first? >> The sh. >> Okay. And then what happened? >> That's when he sliced his foot and that's when he got away from me. >> Okay. What do you mean by that? >> It's when this guy came started. >> What do you mean? >> Taking the body into the garage and stuff. >> Okay. How did they do that? How did it go from the bathroom to the garage? I didn't kill him through the window cuz at that time it was late. >> What time was it by then, do you think? >> Probably 10:11. >> Okay. Cuz what you're describing to me, that's that'll happen pretty fast, right? >> Mhm. It was quick. >> So, from the point where Okay. He stabbed her with a knife. Where were you guys in the bathroom then? Where were they? >> Huh? Where were they in the bathroom then, guys? >> No. No. Just Destiny and and David. Where were they in the bathroom? >> Uh, he blacked out for a while and nothing happened after that, right? And he was stopping me like, "You better not say anything." Blah, blah, blah. And that's when he started. >> Okay. And then we were waiting for this guy for sure. >> Okay. Did you know Destiny was dead at that time? >> Okay. Where was she? >> Blue. >> Where was she? In the >> in the shower. >> In the shower. Okay. So, what happened after that? After he told you not to tell anyone? >> That's when they started telling me what I needed to do. Who's that? >> Said that if you say anything, I will go down for it. This guy is >> okay. How did they end up getting there? >> Um, probably by a call. I don't even know. >> Okay. Did you ever see him call on anyone? >> Okay. What did he say? >> He just said that we need you at least twice and that's it. >> Okay. Did he say your address? >> Mhm. >> Okay. And what happened then? >> That's when all this stuff with the body being chopped up and stuff. >> Okay. >> Garage. >> Okay. Let's back up a little bit from there. Okay. So, you said they took Destiny's body out through the window >> in your bedroom. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Was it just as is or did they do anything to the body beforehand? They just put it all in the bed and they were talking about how to handle it. And that's when they saw, okay, you have power tools or things like that. And that's what David told them. And I took my circuit cuz that's what they told me how to do. Okay. and they had weapons on. So I felt scaled how I did. >> Okay. So just so I 100% understand these guys come over. You guys had moved Destiny's body from the bathroom to onto your bed. >> Mhm. >> Okay. How long was it there? >> Uh I don't know. hallway 20 minutes at home when you're trying to figure out what to do. Okay. And then Destiny's body gets moved from living room, I'm sorry, your bedroom window to the garage. >> Mhm. >> All right. Was did they just carry her out normal or was she wrapped up? Anything? >> Just carried out normal. >> Okay. >> And what happened in the garage? >> That's when they grabbed me and I went out to the garage with a container. >> Okay. Where did the container come from? >> My clothes >> was in the apartment. >> Okay. So, I was going to use it to pack. >> Okay. >> My stuff real quick. >> Okay. And then what? >> And he said, "Then you need to start chopping up this body." So, I took my saw and started cutting up the body. >> Okay. >> And she sat there for a while. And then a guy, his guys didn't want anything else to do with it. Mhm. >> So, that's when David told me that I had to put it in the cuff store. Okay. So circular saw that's some heavy duty stuff, right? >> That make quite a mess. >> No, not really. >> Okay. Was quite a bit, but the blade was pretty dull, so it was kind of fighting it. So >> what do you mean fighting it? >> Like it wasn't really cutting very well. So it didn't make too much of a messy. >> Okay. So when you say that did you personally cut up Destiny's body? Okay. >> Was anybody else there? >> Uh, the guys and David. >> Everybody was in that garage with you. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Um, how many I mean, are we talking Describe to me how you cut up a body? >> Describe to me how you would cut up a body like in into what pieces. >> Wow. They pretty much just they told me how to do it, so I did it. >> Okay. Do you remember at all? I need to cut the legs off from here down. And then um I did that and then from here to like in here I cut there on both sides. Okay. And then the head. >> Let the arms be or what? >> I couldn't do it anymore. I cut foot and off and I couldn't do it anymore. >> Okay. And what happened then? >> That's when we put the uh body in the container and there was a whole bunch of crap on the ground and that's when the cleaning started happening. >> Okay. in the garage slowly. I was up there coining. >> Okay. What did you clean? >> Um all the sawdust and all the chunks of wood that was on the ground. >> Sawdust equipped it. >> Okay. Okay. Um was Destiny's body left in the garage overnight or >> was there for a while and then it was like I don't remember. It was like Friday, I want to say. >> Which most recent Friday? >> Want to say? Yeah. >> Okay. All right. And then what? >> Then that's when I bought the body the body the balls off to the trash bag off to the Okay. Okay. And then that was on this most recent Friday. Okay. And has anything happened since when you guys cleaned everything? What all did you have to clean? >> The walls. H the walls. >> Which walls? In the bedroom. >> In the bedroom. How come in the bedroom? There's blood. Okay. >> Anywhere else? >> And that's why there was stains on the go. Okay. >> Cuz I was on the go. >> Is there still stains on the carpet? >> Yes. Bleach. Pink bleach stains. >> Okay. Anywhere else in the apartment? Okay. Just in your bedroom. Nowhere else. Not in the bathroom. Nowhere else. That's all cleaned. Okay. So you did clean it or didn't clean the bad? >> It's all been cleaned >> by you specifically? >> Yeah, they pretty much put me on it. >> Okay. So you had to clean everything. >> Okay. Um, have they talked to you since? >> I won't talk to one who's actually blocking my number. >> Okay. Since. >> Okay. So you haven't talked to David or any of his people since. And have you talked to Andrea about what happened? And I know you guys are very close. >> We kept that promoted. >> Okay. What have you told her anything at all? >> I know. All she knows is that skin came. Okay. How How did that conversation happen? >> She knew something was wrong. >> How so? >> Just how I was acting. >> Was this on set? What day was it? She was questioning me >> what she said. >> She asked me about what happened and do you know what he is? Blah blah blah. And I said, "Oh, I know what she said." >> Okay. And she didn't ask any questions. >> She's like, "How?" And I said it was self-defense. >> Okay. >> And that's all she asked cuz it wouldn't kill anymore. >> Okay. So yesterday when I talked to you, that obviously isn't what she was telling me, you know. Why is that? Did you guys have a conversation about that? I told her that to keep it secret. Okay. Okay. Or do you want to clean up anything? Just have a few questions for you if that's okay. Just kind of going back to that pipe that you talked about initially that she came at you with. >> Mhm. >> What color kind of pipe was it? >> It was like a dash pipe. >> It's like a black iron or >> It's like a a civil iron. >> Silver >> island pipe. >> Okay. You said it was threaded on both ends. How big or round was it? >> I would say probably an inch and a half. >> Inch and a half. Okay. So, >> why do you have something like that laying around in your bedroom? Huh? weapons. >> So, do you just use it as something a weapon if you need to? >> I've had people pull knives on me. I've had a lot of things happen to me. >> Okay. >> Um, and then when you were describing what was happening in the bathroom, you said, you know, that, you know, there was stuff going on in the by the toilet and in the shower. Where were you when all that was happening? >> Was in that hall. >> In the hall. So, where in the hall as far as where the bedroom is? You know where the sink in my room? >> That little entry into Yeah. >> I was by the closet by the bathroom there. >> Okay. So, you could see right into the bathroom. >> Okay. Did you stay there the entire time? >> No. >> Eventually, I left >> cuz I couldn't get him to stall. >> Okay. Where were you going? >> I went to my bedroom bed. >> So, how did how did you see things happen like her get put in the toilet and her >> That was That's when I was there. >> Okay. So you were there, you saw her get stabbed. How long from the time that you left and couldn't see anymore until he came out do you think you passed? >> 10 minutes, 5 minutes, I don't even know. >> Okay. Is she making any noise or saying >> cuddling? She was gurgling. >> Yeah. Okay. And she was screaming the wood a bit when it started. >> Do you think anybody would have heard that? >> Maybe one is upstairs. >> Okay. >> She knows that something's up. You said that David called his guys. He gives you um pick up the phone and call people. >> He has a lot of people that he does, you know, with that does this kind of stuff. >> So when you when you say he has people and they do stuff, what do you mean by that? >> Gangster stuff. >> Gangster stuff. >> Okay. What does gangster stuff mean to you? >> Jobs to guns to be people up to hurting people. >> Okay. >> Do you know any of these guys? No, the only one I know was David. >> Okay. How many How many guys did he have come over? >> It's like four or five of them. >> Was it four or five? >> Four. >> Four. >> Okay. Did he call four different people? How many? >> He just called one. >> So he made one phone call. >> Did you hear what he said? >> He just said that it was an incident that happened and we need help. I need help to take care of her body. That's all he said. >> Okay. >> Then they just came. >> Mhm. >> How long did it take them to get there, do you think? >> Probably 20 minutes to left home. >> What do these guys look like? Can you describe them? All I can do is tax tax and um Mexicans. >> So they're all Mexican guys. Okay. Were there any of them big, short, tall? Any just general description of them at all you can remember? Uh there was a few mostly like a lot of different heights. I don't know how to explain it. I'm sorry. >> Okay. How about anything on their clothing that you remember? >> Uh all I seen was like uh like jackets. >> What color? >> Black jackets. >> All the black jackets on >> like the motorcycle jackets. >> Okay. So like leather jackets. They >> like this cut >> cut off leather jackets. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Did you see any marks on them? >> I don't know games that well. So, yeah, there was tattoos. >> They had tattoos. >> Where did they have tattoos at? >> Their arms. Some of them had them on the face. >> Okay. When you say like they had tattoos on their arms, did they have like full sleeve tattoos or just a couple sporadic? >> One just had a couple and then other one just had a whole bunch. >> Okay. And you said that you used a saw to to cut her up and it was your circular saw. >> Mhm. >> Okay. What kind of saw do you have? >> It's a circular saw. >> What do you know what brand it is? how big it is. >> I want to say it's What is the one that starts with a P? I can't even think now. >> A P >> B >> B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B B >> Is it B? It's orange is all I know. >> Orange. >> Starts with a >> It's one of the cheaper brands. >> Okay. >> So, >> so it's a orange saw. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> We talking a handheld one or you talking about your table one? >> Yeah. >> No, that's a chop saw. Okay. It was a hand one. >> Okay. Is it a corded one or a battery one? >> A coat. >> Okay. Where's that saw at right now? >> It's in my head. It's in co. >> In where? >> That covered with my workbench. >> In the cupboard of your workbench. And is that in your garage? Is >> that a new one that you built or the one that's waist high? >> Mhm. And you said that you had a container. Where did you get that container from? >> Yeah, my dad got it at McDonald's. No, >> like was it in your house? Was it? >> It was in my house. Yeah. >> Okay. What kind of container is it? >> Plastic container. >> Like a tote. >> Like one of the big totes. >> Okay. >> They have. >> What color was it? >> Blue. >> Blue. >> Sitting on top of the workbench. >> Right now it is. >> Yeah. And there's some sheet metal on top of it. >> Okay. Is it uh the whole thing's blue or just the top? >> The blue is the whole thing's blue and then it's like a gray top on it. >> Okay. >> Greenish blue top, I would say. >> Um, what kind of clothes were you wearing that night when this happened? >> I can't remember. It was probably a t-shirt. >> Do you know where they are? What you did with them? It's all gone. >> It's almost gone away. >> You threw all your clothes away? >> Mhm. >> When did you do that? >> A couple days afterwards. >> Where did you throw them? >> In the trash. >> In your like your trash in your house. >> Mhm. >> Okay. What do you do with your trash in your house after it's full? >> Uh there's a couple bags and then I don't think there's anything in that, but there might be. But a lot of it that my t-shirts and stuff I want to say was in the trash dumpster. >> So you took it from your house from your house trash and threw it in the dumpster. >> Mhm. >> Where's your dumpster at your apartment? >> Uh kind of by my garage. It's when you pull in the parking lot on one side. >> Okay. >> Where my in the interstate is on the other side. Poland where all the apartments are. That's where the trash cans are. >> Okay. And that's the same dumpster that your body went into? >> No. Which dumpster did her body go into? The >> one across the street. >> Okay. Can you explain where that one is? >> It's pretty much right across the street. It's >> which street? >> Where the dumpster? You go across the other apartments >> to the north of you. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, directly north of you, there's a dumpster there for those apartments. And she went into that one. >> Well, you know where the dumpsters are? >> I don't. Well, you know, I do >> the dumpsters there and then you just cross that street into the next apartment. That's where we got those. >> Now, is their dumpster access close to the road or is it back in the >> It's back home. >> Back in there. >> Okay. >> And what day did that happen that you got? >> His day was last Friday. >> Last Friday. >> Okay. >> I was trying to get a hold of him to see what was going on and there wasn't anything. He wasn't spawning in the calls. It would ring like two or three times and then it would stop and then um there was one time I was out in the garage and then he was on his bike and that's when he told me that he needed to take care of the body and put in the dump on the dump still get stuck. >> You talking about David told him did you take care of the body by yourself or did you have help? I >> took care of it myself. >> Okay. The only one that could help is Andrew. And I kept a lot of it. That's >> How did How did you get the body way over there? >> H >> How'd you get it over there? >> Trash bags. >> How many trash bags? >> I think it was like two three trash bags. >> Okay. That seems like a, you know, to put a body in a trash bag's pretty tough. >> Not with his chopped up. >> He said he cut her legs off, right? And her head. Mhm. >> So just torso. >> Yeah, it was the only thing that was his arms. Oh, that part I it was was that container. I carried the container over and then picked up the container onto the side and then I picked up and um there was carpet in there and I moved some of the carpet and then I kept it in. >> You took the container in or you tipped her in? I took the container inside the dumpster and then I just picked up the container. I just kind of hopped in and picked up the container and then I put the cup over. >> Okay. There's a reason you grab the container. >> H >> Why did you take the container? >> Cuz I was going to bleach it. That's what they told me to do. >> Okay. Then you said you cleaned up some sawdust. >> There was a lot of sawdust and crap in my garage. >> What's that from? woodworking. Okay. >> That was a lot of woodworking. Yeah. >> Okay. So, that was there before. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Do you think you'd be able to show us where all this stuff is? >> I talk to my dad first so he can leave. >> I think we could probably arrange that. >> Yeah, it should be fine. >> Yeah. You want money when you guys stay here just in case you don't take it home? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, I can stay with you, bud. He does get physical sometimes. >> Okay, we'll make sure that won't happen. Okay. And you don't have to go into crazy detail, okay? But you just want to tell him something happened and I was going to say just >> Okay. And that you're going to help us with some stuff. Okay. And if it I'll let him know that we'll talk later. I'll explain to them what's going on later. Okay. Sound good? >> All right. How long is this going to take? >> So, I guess it's going to take all day. How long? >> Well, we got a lot of work to do. Yeah. We got to go look at stuff, right? And we got to make sure we do it the right way. So, the right way tends to take a little while. Okay. So, we're going to be hanging out for a little bit, me and you. It's okay. I don't like my life. My life is a thing. I saw him do that. He was like, I didn't want to be like I can protect myself, but I know he carries weapons on him. I didn't know if he had a [ __ ] pistol on the back of him or anything, you know, and the only thing I have is a BB guns. And I'm sorry, a pistol BB gun. It's not going to be [ __ ] Mhm. Okay. But you had to clean everything, right? And you had to do all the work. >> Well, it's my place. I didn't even not stay there. >> Yeah. Okay. >> That's the part I got pissed off is he did it and then he left all the work to me. >> Mhm. >> I get it. Is there any chance that that body is not in the trash? >> Yeah, that was me. Hard to say. >> Uh, it was me cuz my light went on my phone. It's probably Andrea asking me what's going on. Gotcha. >> Just because of everything that's going on at night, I'm not going to have you texting. Okay. I'm not. >> Can you just do me a favor? >> Can I put my music on again? I we watch. >> Well, we got to keep talking, bud. >> Okay. It's just based on everything you're saying, we got to make sure everything is is done prop the right way. Okay. So, I can't have you text or anything. >> Okay. >> The way we work, we like to know things before anybody else knows. You know what I mean? >> Well, I'm not going to text. My phone's almost dead. Mhm. I call my mom at least and let her know I'm okay. >> So, she's she knows she you just talked to her and said you're okay. >> I know, but she's sleeping home. >> Okay. >> Now, she can't get my dad. >> Well, after me and you talked to dad, then he can you can call her and let her know what's going on. Okay. All right. Okay. >> You going to get my dad for me? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Um, do you did you communicate with anybody about what took place? Did you ever try to text David? No. >> No. You told me not to do. >> All I did is text him and say, "Hey, I need a dog." All right. Um, more than likely we'll have to take your phone for a bit to download all the contents of it. Okay. I mean, we have to get out all the info off your phone. >> Why? >> It's just part of how we do everything. Okay. Um, that won't be for a little bit, though. Okay. Um, but we got we got work to do today, me and you. We got to go look at all this stuff. And you know your place better than I do. You know everything happened. So, it's going to be important that we do everything the right way. Okay. >> If I go to jail, will this help me? >> What do you mean? >> If I get arrested for this? >> How honest you've been with us? Absolutely. >> It's very What you're doing is only helping you. >> Okay. >> The more honest you can be, the better >> 100%. Everybody makes mistakes. Accidents happen doesn't make you a bad person. It's how you deal with those things afterwards. How honest you are. >> I got we got a lot more work to do. I can't give you an answer on that. We got a lot more work to do. Okay. Cuz if what you're telling me is true, you didn't hurt her. Somebody else did. Right. So, >> only thing is the body. >> Mhm. Mhm. But we got to figure out what's going on with that. We got a lot more stuff to decide. I don't want to give you information that's not true. So, >> right now, does it sound like it >> right now? Does it sound like it? >> Mhm. >> I don't know. I don't know, man. >> Yeah. Being honest with you. I always will be honest with you. Okay. I always will. But that goes both ways, right? You got to be honest with me. So, if there's anything different about what you're telling me, I got to know it. >> No. >> The thing is is he's going to lie about it and he's not going to go on me now. Okay, we'll cross step when we get to just got to worry about step one for right now. Okay, if you try to look at this whole big picture, it's overwhelming, right? You just got to take things one step at a time. You know what I'm saying? >> Trying to cooperate with you guys as I can, but like I you have to see my sign. It's like I've been [ __ ] over by the system before. >> And I I'll tell you that I don't know about your past like that. Only you do. But I just know that I'm going to be honest with you the whole time. I'm going to be straightforward. Okay? If I know something, I'm going to tell you. But I I hope that you do the same for me. Okay? Because I think we're slowly slowly getting to the truth of what happened. >> But each time we talk about it, more details comes out, right? And a little bit more of the truth comes out. >> Mhm. >> And I think we're still not there yet. I don't think we're 100% to the truth yet. I think we got a little ways to get there yet. Me and you. Right. So, if there's anything different about what you told us, let's get it out in the open right now. Let's take care of it. Cuz I want to be able to say when I go talk to, you know, my bosses that Ethan was 100% honest. He told me the truth the whole time. And I don't know that I can do that right now. Okay. And when I when I say that, it's it's not that I'm I'm not looking for you to tell me what I want to hear. All I want to hear is the truth. That's it. That's it. Being honest, I don't know what times it was. Like I was like, did I look at the clock? No. I I get what you're saying on that. It's hard to know exact time. It all happened and it's like it happened and it's like it seemed like it happened to us. >> Mhm. We like to get those timestamps on things just so it makes sense for us so we can see, you know, play it all out and go, "Okay, this makes sense. Everything happened in order, you know. That's why we ask the times, but it's not it's not like you have to give me a certain time. You're giving me your best guess. You're giving me your best guess. That's okay. >> I don't know that. That's okay. It's okay. Is that why you're not waving me? Is because of the times? >> Well, my part that I'm having a a tough time kind of figuring out is these people that come over, they don't do anything. They didn't help you. You did everything. They didn't really do anything. >> Yeah. They were putting it on me. >> I just laughed. putting it all on me. Okay. Using a disability advantage. Is that what you think? Okay. Um I think that from this point we should get dad in here to kind of tell them what's going on. I don't think it's a good idea for us to go into a lot of detail with it right now, especially since, you know, we're still doing our investigation. >> Can we make a deal then? If I'm not going to go into too much detail, just if I do get arrested, can I talk to my parents? >> Absolutely. Absolutely. I will promise you that. Yeah, I will make sure that that happens for you. >> What do I say? Then what do you want me to say? >> Well, you didn't want me to say something happened with me. Basically, yeah, we we need to keep it I don't think they need to know a lot about this right now since we're still doing our investigation. I think we just told dad that, you know, um some stuff that happened to Destiny and you've got to help us out with that. So, it's going to be a while and he's not going to be able to be around for it. >> Okay. Is that fair? >> Okay. >> Okay. Does it seem like I'm making any of this stuff up? >> Okay, good. cuz I want I don't want to put words in your mouth, but I also can't have him knowing a good thing that happened. >> Oh, I know. >> You know what I mean? I don't want to. >> Okay. >> Okay, let's do that. We'll get Dad in here. Um kind of just like I had told you and if if you need my help explaining things, just let me know and I will do that for you. Um but then he'll he'll have to take off and then me and you got some more work to do. Okay. >> I say that I know she's dead. Do you not want me to say that? >> I don't think my mom. >> That's the thing. That's why my mom was calling my dad. >> Okay. I still don't think it's a good idea. >> Okay. >> Okay. Just say you know some stuff that happened to her and you're worried or I'm sorry. You know some stuff that happened to her and you're going to help us from here on out and it's just going to be us. Okay. Okay. All right. I'll be right back. Yes, sir. One sec. Now I will kind of explain a little further. Okay. this moment that I know >> that happened. >> Okay, >> so this is pretty tough for Ethan. Um, it sounds like Ethan might know, you know, some some more stuff about what happened to Destiny. >> Uh, and he's going to be helping us out for the rest of the day trying to figure that out. >> Okay. >> So, all right. >> Kind of our plan for the rest of the day here. Um, when we're done, I will have him call you so that you know. >> Okay. >> So that you know what's going on. >> Okay. Um, but as as of right now, he's he's going to be helping us out trying to figure everything out. Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. >> I know this is confusing for you. I know it's stressful. I get it. >> I I kind of suspected there was more to the story, but I don't know anything more than I >> And and that's just it for right now. It's >> I want investigation that we're doing >> right now with everything that's going on. I don't want to. >> That's up to you, Ethan. You're an adult. But you're handling it the right way. It sounds like It sounds like you're talking to the police and that's all I can ask for. Okay. >> And you just got to be honest. I've told you this many times. >> Can you talk to mom and calm down? >> I will just ask this for the simple reason that um I want to protect my son. Uh, do you think a lawyer needs to be present at this point or >> I can to be honest with you that's not >> that you can't provide that and I understand and I understand that >> I can't give that advice to you. Um, >> okay. Cuz I have no idea what's going on. So I don't >> really uh know where to proceed from. Do you think you need a lawyer, Ethan, at this point? Or again, only you know what happened here? I don't. My thoughts on it are um and again, I don't want to It's an ongoing investigation. >> I agree with you. >> It sounds like Ethan was present during an altercation. uh that may have resulted in the loss of life for Destiny. So if that is >> seriously that may be a possibility here. So he's going to help us out to try to figure that out. Okay. >> Okay. That said, I'm piecing this together by the way. Um the other incident needs to be examined as well. >> Absolutely. Okay. Absolutely. >> With that said, >> absolutely. I would agree. >> Okay. Right. So >> you okay? >> Do you think you need representation? I'm going to ask that one more time. >> I don't know. >> What's that? >> I don't know. >> Well, if you witness something, if you did something, they're two different things. And again, I think you need to be honest either way. >> I've been honest >> again, but you weren't honest up till now. >> So listen to him. So, but talking to him and his phone 11. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you think you need protection at all, though? >> Dad, I want to do this. >> Even if I get arrested for it, I want to do it. I want to do the right thing. >> That's all I want to hear. >> You got my number. I text you. Reach out to me if you need to. >> Okay. Okay. Yeah. All right. This is why we need to get away from seeing your friends. >> I'm sorry I do. You know, >> I just hope you know there are consequences to action. >> I do. >> You got to man up either way. Talking to these guys is the right thing to do. >> Thank you. >> Pick the phone. Yeah, I think we'll hang on to it for now. Okay. Um, you'll get a sheet of paper that says that we've got this for right now. >> Okay. But I'm just going to hang on to it. >> That's fine. I trust you. >> Mhm. Get back. >> I've got three phones in my pocket now. It's just chaos. Let's do this. >> You ready? >> Yeah. Where we at, buddy? Um, he just wants to go down and show us his garage and >> what's going on. >> Um, the only thing I I have to go in the house and I want Andrew though if she's dating this person cuz she will give him a heads up. >> We're going to start with just the garage. So, >> I can't The keys are in the house. >> Keys are in there. Okay. Okay. Well, >> the only thing that is, do you have a Philips straight screwdriver? >> No. No. We'll we'll be able to go and get and get take we can have somebody bring Andrea up here for the time being. We'll just do that. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah, we'll figure it out. >> Let's me and you go grab a seat back in the car. We'll put that up front. >> I don't want to see you. >> She won't. We'll make sure she doesn't. Okay. You want to grab your mask? >> Yeah. All right. I have to turn this. All right. Okay. So, like we talked about before, we're going to kind of discuss all these issues again. Um, and I know you have some concerns. So, we'll start again just by making you aware of your rights. Okay. Um, so with that in mind, you have the right to remain silent and you say it can be used against you in court of law. You have the right to consult with an attorney before answering any questions now. If you can't afford an attorney, want to be appointed to you at no cost to yourself. If you choose to answer questions now without an attorney present, you can stop answering questions at any time until you consult with them. Do you understand those rights? >> Okay. Didn't understand those. You will want to talk with me now. >> Okay. >> So, like we were talking a little bit before Schultz got here. Um, the most important thing is that we're honest with each other. When when your dad was sitting in that chair before he left today, do you remember what he said? >> Be honest. >> He said, "Be a man. >> Be honest. Own your mistakes. And like we talked about too, just cuz we make mistakes doesn't make us bad people. >> Mhm. >> Okay. But it's how we handle those mistakes from here on out that'll tell us what we need to know about you, Ethan. Okay. >> So, I think we've the story that we've been discussing throughout the day. I think parts of it are very true, but I think we need to be honest with each other. Okay. >> So, talk to me, man. What happened? You want to start on Friday or what do you want me to start? >> Let's start with what happened Friday. Yeah. So me and D me and um Jess was home and like she's been dealing with depression and stuff like I said and she's been burning herself too trying to hurt herself and we've been going at it all day and you know and stuff like that. Andrea came home about I don't even know what time it was. I don't even know what time it was. It was after shift. >> Mhm. >> And I told her that, you know, that's getting on my nose. And I said that, you know, I don't know what else to do. And I told her that she's talking prescriptions of mine to your name. >> Mhm. And she said that and I told her that she wants to leave and Andrea agreed with me that she wouldn't have to leave. Don't want to leave. She doesn't want to leave because we don't know what she took. >> Mhm. >> And so I was talking to her on it and stuff like that and all this and that. So, I went back in the bedroom and stuff like that. And Andrew was listening to music in the living room. >> Mhm. >> And I was talking to Destiny and she wanted to leave. And I said, "Yeah, I don't want you leaving because of the um you know what you've been doing." And I did tell her she can't I can't stop her, but I don't want you leaving. and and this and that and I was told I told her that you know I don't want her whole to leave and stuff like that well and stuff like that and kind of turned into an argument again and we're going back and forth and I don't remember was all said you know I said no you have to stay here just because of this reason like I didn't want you going just cuz I don't know what's going to happen and she did brought up that this friend she's going to go to has a gun and she will go herself if I you know she goes. >> I didn't feel safe like that or I didn't want her to go. Well, I decided to stand up for the video and that's when she swing the pipe at me. Okay. And she grabbed the pipe out of my closet and swung it at me. And that's when she swung it at me. I was able to block it like I told you. Well, it pissed me off and it got ugly from there. Then I cracked it with a pipe. >> Okay. All right. So, this happened right in front of your bedroom door. Okay. >> And then um I told Andrew to leave and she's like, "Why?" I just said, "You need to leave. I don't want you involved with any of this. You need to leave." Okay. >> She's like, I heard Destiny say, Ethan, I'm sorry. >> And that's when I called David. And that's when David was involved. >> Okay. What do you mean? >> That's when David came over to the window cuz I knew there was cameras. >> Okay. So, >> and that's when David David took it the next step. Okay. >> I did what he did. >> Okay. Let's kind of back up a little bit. So, she swung the pipe at you and you blocked it. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And then what happened? Did you take >> That's when I That's when I took it from my crack in the hip with it. >> Okay. And what happened to her? >> Huh? That's when I saw the block. >> Did she fall down? >> Mhm. >> Was she um Did she get knocked out or >> She's just laying there like not saying much. Was she awake? >> Mhm. And then she would come too and so she was coming at me again and that's when more like physical part happened and then that's when David came over and did what he did was going on in the bathroom. Okay. So Ethan, I I think where we're at right now, the point where he hit her with a the pipe, that's extremely, you know, strong of you to be able to tell me that. I appreciate that. Okay. But I what I don't want to see happen is um we we keep getting to the points where you're being really honest with me and then we deviate and then we talk about something else. And I know that you want to tell me the whole truth. I know. >> That's everything. That's everything. And he was the one that told me how to take care of it with, >> okay? >> He told me how to what I needed to do as a hobby and use bleach. >> Okay. >> And all that stuff. >> Okay. >> And this guy's a little bit involved. That I was being honest. Oh well. >> Okay. Let's >> You think I was going to carry a complete body out through the window by myself? >> Well, I don't think it'd be easy, but I think it's possible, >> right? So, and I'll hide my windows all up. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. But Ethan, you're you're strong, dude. I'm not that strong. I'm sorry. Okay. So, let's jump back a little bit here. Okay. All right. So, she swings this pipe at you. All right. You took it, swung it back at her, and she falls to the ground. >> And you said she was bleeding. >> Mhm. >> Where from? >> Top of the head. Kind of like you were talking about earlier today. Okay. You said she was not unconscious. >> Okay. Was she talking, saying anything? >> Mhm. >> Kind of describe to me what you saw at that point. She was just laying there looking at me. >> Okay. She wasn't saying anything. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Was she breathing? Are >> you sure? >> I can see her stomach moving. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. So, you think she was conscious, but were her eyes open? >> Okay. Was she moving at all? >> Not really. >> What do you mean not really? >> She was just kept looking at me. >> Just kept looking at you? >> Mhm. >> Okay. You mentioned that Andrea had said something like she heard her say, "Ethan, I'm sorry." When was that? >> My answer was >> Okay. And Andrea was out in the living room. >> Listening to music. >> Listening to music. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Did she ask you what was going on? >> I didn't tell. She asked, but I didn't tell. >> Okay. You know what? I I think Ethan, you're a a very loyal friend, a good person, and I I think that, and I'm not saying Andrea did anything wrong here, okay? But I've noticed that a lot of what we've talked about as we slowly kind of get to the truth here, you're doing everything you can to protect your friend, to protect Andrea. And I'm not saying she did anything wrong here, but you know what I mean. She She knows what happened. She knows. Okay. >> She is the one that got Taylor involved. >> Got who involved? >> David. >> David. Okay. And how so? Let's Let's get back to Okay. You see what I mean? But like we'll get a little bit more truth here and there. I I I just want you to tell me the whole truth. 100%. Just the truth, man. Okay? Cuz then I know I can trust you. The whole truth, man. No more, you know, because I think you you and I know that Destiny is not alive right now. Not because of Dave, okay? We know that me and me and my partner here are very good at what we do. Okay? But I need you to be honest with me. That's going to help you in the long run. Okay? That's going to help you. >> Yeah. >> Let's start it from the beginning, man. Let's be honest. >> I know. Be honest. >> Start from the beginning. I told you like there was a stubble on the freaking wheel. >> Okay. >> And we were going at it just I don't remember what was said. >> I know it's probably about our depression and all this and that. >> It sounds like it started as you trying to protect your friend like the same way with Andrea, right? >> Okay. And she wanted to leave. She grabbed a pipe. Right. Yeah. And then what? >> She swung at me. >> Okay. And you took that pipe and then what? >> So she hit me with the foot. >> Okay. So she did end up getting you on the leg a little bit. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And was that the first swing? >> Yes. >> Okay. What happened then? >> That's when I hit him. That's when I out shoes. Say that again. >> She was dead when I hit her with a pipe. I thought and that's when I told Andrea, believe. >> Okay. Then what? >> And she's like, "Well, what happened?" And I just said that I didn't tell her really much of anything. I just told her that I think I killed yesterday. Okay. >> And it's off the fence. Okay. >> And then she went over to David's. That's when he got involved. >> Okay. >> The first of the faults. >> Okay. So, did Andrea leave? >> Mhm. >> She left the apartment. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Did she walk to Davis? >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, what did you do when she left? >> H >> What did you do when she left? What happened then? >> Um, nothing really. Is that my phone? >> Yeah, that was yours. >> Who's calling you? >> Lincoln. >> That's Melissa. >> Okay. >> Okay. What were we saying, though? >> Um, that's Miami team. Um, >> yeah. I don't know what >> So, Andrea left to go. She left and she was just laying there and stuff like that. >> Okay. So, what did you do? >> And I make sure David was home. >> What do you mean? >> I called David to make sure he was home and I said, "Andrew needs to go over there. There's some stuff that happened to you." >> Okay. >> And then Andrew was the one that told David and that's when David got involved and told me what I needed to do. >> Okay. He just told you over the phone? >> No, he came home. >> Okay. When did he get there? I don't even know what time it was. >> Was it late? >> It was probably when you saw him on the camera. 9 10 11 I don't even know. >> Okay, I got you. I got you. And what did he say? >> Huh? >> Tell me what he told you. >> Told me to stab on the neck to make sure she was dead. >> Did you? Okay. All right. And was it like you described the one stab and then a cut? >> I only did the cut, not the stab. I didn't do the cut. >> Okay. Did someone else do the cut? Who was that? >> Okay. Why did he do that? >> Because he wanted to make sure she was dead if he was getting involved. That's what he told me. >> Okay. And was Andrea there, too? >> Cuz she went and got David. I know that you guys were all in and out the whole time, right? Mhm. >> Mhm. Okay. So, he said stab her, make sure she was dead. >> Mhm. >> Were we still in the >> bedroom? >> bedroom. Did you Okay. Did you move her to the bathroom? >> Me and David did. >> You and David did. >> Okay. >> Okay. How did you do that? Did he grab the arms or what? >> He grabbed the top of the body and I grabbed the legs. >> Okay. And then went into the shower. that tall big standing shower. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And then what? >> That's when guys came over and helped us carry it outside. And that's when that parts happened. That part I was not counting on. That's the part they told me to do. >> Mhm. As far as dismembering and >> disposing. Did they tell you to put her in the trash? >> No. They said they wouldn't come back and take care of it. They never did. >> Okay. So, did you decide to do that? >> No, David was I told you on that. David came over one day and I was out in the garage. >> Okay. >> Okay. Okay. He told me that's what I needed to do. >> Okay. So, >> then there wouldn't be any evidence of a car. >> The thing here, Ethan, is um I'm not saying David wasn't there cuz I I see him on the camera. Okay. But I would have seen four people. I would have seen five people. They went from the window. That's that's just it is and is whether there's >> check the freaking window. The screen's off for a reason. >> Okay. >> Okay. And again, I'm I'm not saying that there wasn't some movement through the windows and whatnot. Okay. >> If you're not going to stop believing, that's when I will get away. If you're not going to stop believing me, I'm not going to sit here and talk to you when I know what happened. >> But Ethan, can you see where I'm coming from? when we go from we get a little bit more truth here every time. >> That's the story I was with. That's that's what happened. >> Okay. So, what do you remember? Was David there for a while before these other people showed up? >> I want to say like probably 45 minutes. >> Okay. Do you know how he's connected to these people? >> His family. What do you mean? >> What he's told me is this family has people. >> Okay. >> Involved with stuff. >> You just don't know much about it. >> I know some about it. All I was told is by David cuz I was, as you can see, I didn't have little. So, I was using my lecture. >> Mhm. >> All I was told is by David cuz he was head of it. And then David was the president is what we called it. and then the other person that was part of it um that we go to but he would have to if it's a field he has to talk to David with his roommate. >> Okay. So let's jump back into kind of how this all played out here. Um how much time passed do you think from Andrea leaving and her and David coming back? >> I don't even know. Is that true? >> Was a long time a short bit? >> Probably half hour. I don't even know. >> Okay. Did you do anything with Destiny during that time? >> No. What did you do? >> Just laid on my bed crying and shaking. >> Okay. So, talk me through when David and Andrea get there. >> Talk me through when David and Andrea get back to the apartment. >> David came in my room and asked me what's going on and you saw what you had to do. He's like, "Oh, shit." And I'm like, "Yeah, I know." And um he's like, "Well, what happened?" I told him and that's when, you know, I told him that you know what you're doing and this and that. >> Okay. >> And I told him what happened and that's when he's like, "Well, if I'm going to get involved, you need to stab and why did he want just to make sure she was dead?" Now, um I can look back at those cameras for quite some time and I I do see that, you know, Andrew's in and out going, coming and going. I don't see Destiny leaving much. Was it kind of part of the the agreement you guys had that hey, if you come over, you got to stay here? >> Well, that's with my team. They don't want people leaving. Okay. But >> a lot Andrea is okay to come and go, though. >> She was looking. Okay. >> So, >> all right. So, >> and she just doesn't listen. That's the problem with it, right? >> Was that kind of why you guys were going at it all the time was cuz Destiny isn't allowed to leave? >> No, she knew that it's part of the deal. >> Okay. But I know when we talked earlier, you had said that it was good for the first couple days and then it started cuz she wanted to go places, right? >> Mhm. Okay. >> And and yeah, Jesse was upset on that, but at the same time, she knows because, you know, the virus and she was going to work. Mhm. >> You know, >> that's why [ __ ] is all. >> Okay. >> Does obviously it's your apartment, Nathan, so it makes sense, but do you kind of get to choose, you know, what the rules are in the place? I mean, I know my my downstairs man cave, I get to make all the choices. So, no. Is that not the case for you? >> I make rules, but they don't follow. >> Okay, I got you. But as far as Destiny being able to come and go, uh, she was following those rules. >> Okay. >> She would go out and smoke once in a while with Andrew, but that's about it. >> Okay. Otherwise, she knew. >> Mhm. >> Okay. All right. Um, so David comes over and he goes, "Ah, shit." >> Mhm. >> What What happened then? >> That's what I told you. That's when you told me. >> Okay. And then you guys moved her from the >> Yeah. bedroom into the bathroom. >> Uh, well, when it was stabbed, she was in the bathroom, so all the blood went into the the joint. >> Okay. Was she alive at that time? >> I don't know. >> Did it look like she was breathing? >> If you're not sure, it's okay. >> I'm not sure. >> Okay. All right. Um, and where did this knife come from? The knife that you guys used. >> It's his. >> Oh, it's his. Is it the same one that you described to me earlier? The wood one? >> Yeah, but it's gone. It was destroyed. >> How so? >> Uh, broken in pieces. >> Really? How'd you guys do that? >> Tools that I have. Really? >> You do have quite a bit of tools, man. You probably got more than I do with my grindles and things that I have. Okay. And what did you guys do with the pieces? >> Huh? >> What' you do with the pieces of it? >> Throw them away. >> Okay. So, she goes into the bathroom. You stabbed her in the neck. Can you point to me where? >> Same spot as the door. >> Are we thinking center or >> like more in the center? >> More in the center. >> Okay. And then he did as well. >> Mhm. >> And would you say that was a stab as well or kind? Doesn't mice. >> Okay. Did you see any reaction from her when that happened? Was there any reaction from her when you did? >> Yeah. >> What kind? >> Well, like a like a a gobling noise. Okay. >> Okay. How did you feel during all this? >> Scared. >> Scared. >> Upset. >> Why were you scared? I didn't want to be I didn't I didn't want what happened to happen they turn out that way. >> Has it ever gotten I mean obviously this is very serious stuff but has it ever you guys ever got that physical with each other in the past? You know how come? I don't know. Just have a just three minutes. >> Okay. I know. >> But it's usually whole swing something at me or whatever close and then it's me going back. >> Okay. Um I know that you're not boyfriend girlfriend with Destiny, right? No. But you did have a romantic kind of relationship in the past. >> It was like one time I was drunk. Was there anything going on when she stayed this time? >> Uh, she did we did do it one time >> during that week? Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um, was it her idea or yours? >> Was both. >> Both. Mutual thing. >> Mhm. >> Were you guys drinking or anything during that? >> A little bit. A >> little bit. Okay. >> Where do you get your beer from? Hm. >> What do you What do you drink, by the way? >> I like Bud Light. >> Liquor and Bud Light. I'm a Bush Light guy myself, just being honest with you. But >> that's all right. >> I'm not I don't mind it. I mean, if it was someone gave it to me, I don't drink it. >> Well, you know, >> I'd be full light and >> I got >> What kind of liquor do you like? H >> What kind of liquor do you like? >> Jack, >> Jack. Okay. >> Honey, what is it? Handy. Honey Wise? >> No. No. No. Uh, >> it's honey something >> like the Jack Daniels one. >> It's like whiskey. >> I gota do you buy the alcohol? >> Hm. >> Do you buy the alcohol? >> Yeah. I assume you probably the only one with money, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you buy Do you just walk over to Brookdale over there or where do you go? >> It depends. I've gone there, but it's been a while. >> Okay. When I have staff, I might get some alcohol. >> Okay. They'll take you to go run errands and stuff. Got >> this one to get something. >> Okay. All right. Um, yeah. So, David is the one that kind of explained to you what to do. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And I know he had you you both stabbed just to make sure she was dead, right? >> Mhm. >> Okay. cuz I didn't put it like the knife all the way in like he wanted it. >> Is that why he >> did the extra? >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> And what happened after that? >> That's when his guys I'm being honest on this fault. That's when his guys came over. >> Okay. >> And through the window and help me. >> Okay. Did Who carried her over to the window? >> Uh there was like three of us. >> Three. Was she still bleeding at that time? I think most of the blood was over the whole my body on top. >> Okay. >> Because of the injury from the head and the neck. >> So, who carried her over to the window? >> Huh? >> Who carried her over to the window? >> Uh, it was me and a few other guys that I don't know what. >> Okay. So, it was his people, David's people. Okay. >> Like, I've been around them, but we never used names. This way. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So then you passed her through the window to who? >> Huh? >> Who who grabbed her? On the other side of the window. >> We just picked her up and slid out on the rocks. >> Okay, I got you. >> Yeah, listen. And then we just walked out. >> Okay. Were you guys worried about anybody seeing? >> It was late somehow. >> What about cameras or anything? No cameras outside. >> Okay. And went straight into the garage. Mhm. >> What' you guys do then? Huh? >> What'd you do then? >> That's when some of his members told me what I needed to do with body and pieces. >> Okay. And did they what happened then? Did they leave or what happened? >> Um they said they would come back later. They never did and they never showed up. That's when I was out in the garage and um David asked Andrea if she's going to go get nicotine and he said she said yeah. So David by my voice and before he met her at the gas station. >> Okay. >> And only when I needed it. >> Okay. Okay. So, and when you guys put her in the garage, where did she get put? Just on the floor or >> Huh? >> Where did she get put in the garage? >> Mostly in the container. >> You guys put her right away into the container? >> Mhm. >> And this was before cutting up. >> Mhm. >> Okay. What did you do with the container? >> Huh? >> Did we just leave it there until later or what happened? >> Yeah. And um that's when David told me what I needed to do with personal thoughts. >> Okay. Okay. And did how late did David stay that night? >> I don't even know. It's probably like 2 or 3 in the morning. I don't even know. Okay. >> And Did Andrea stay with you or where did she go? >> Huh? Yeah, she stayed. >> She stayed with you. Okay. Did you start cleaning up then or did you guys wait? >> Huh? >> Did you guys start cleaning then or did you wait? >> A little bit. Not much. Was mostly me cleaning up. >> Did anyone help you clean? You >> Where all did you have to clean? Mhm. >> Where all did you have to clean? >> I told you. >> I know. And I know a lot of these questions Ethan, you already kind of answered. >> I do in the bathroom. >> Okay. >> Mostly, but I did the whole Well, just to make sure. >> Did you do it the whole that night? The same night? >> Oh, was the next day? >> Next day. Did you get any sleep beforehand? >> A little bit. I took some sleeping meds. >> Some sleeping meds. Okay. All right. What time do you think you woke up on Saturday? >> About 7. >> About 7 in the morning? >> Mhm. >> I don't sleep much. >> Okay. >> And that's when you started doing all the cleaning. >> Okay. >> Did you sleep in bed or where did you sleep? >> Huh? >> Did you sleep in bed or did you sleep in the couch? >> On the couch. >> Okay. >> What did you do with your clothes? Mhm. >> What did you do with your clothes? >> Like I said, most of that stuff went in the dumpster. >> Did you sleep in your same clothes that night or did you change? >> I took them off. >> Changed? Okay. Where did you change? >> H >> Where did you take your clothes off at? >> In the bedroom. >> In the bedroom. >> Okay. And when you woke up, did you throw all that stuff that away the same day or >> No. When did that happen? was slowly >> slow kind of over the course of the next two weeks. >> Mhm. >> Okay. And do you remember any of the days you threw any of that stuff away? >> It's all gone now. If I remember right, all >> Okay. >> No, it's like I threw some away in one day and then like a day later or so I threw the pinball in. >> Mhm. Okay. Um, you said it was Friday. I think last Friday that you >> last Friday the Friday before I remember. >> Okay. >> But she's been missing two weeks, three weeks away. >> Yeah. Do you think um was it the same day that you cut up Destiny's body that you threw it away or was it a different day? >> Just day. >> Different day. Okay. Do you think it was how how many days before do you think? >> I think it's like Saturday night. >> Okay. So, >> I left out here on Saturday night. >> Okay. So, the day after um the incident took place, that's when Okay. Was that tough for you? Yeah. And you said you used a skill saw. >> Did you do that by yourself? >> H >> Did you have to do that by yourself? Yeah. You mentioned you had to use the handsaw, too. >> Started using a handsaw, but I wasn't going fast enough. >> Okay. So, then you use the skill saw. Okay. I just in my I guess in my head I would imagine that a skill saw the way that spins would just kind of >> Most of the blood was drained out. >> Most of it was drained out. >> How so? >> By the cut in the neck. >> Okay. Okay. And you said you put a trash can? >> I put a bag in a trash can and then I put the bolts in it. >> Okay. the skill saw that you used. I know you told my partner here that it was orange. >> Yeah, I found it took a picture somewhere. >> That's the same one though. Okay. And the handsaw, is that near it too? >> It's in the drawer. >> In a drawer. Okay. Did you use any other tools? >> No. The first cuts that you made you you said were at the knees. Okay. Can you show me just kind of point >> just below the knee? Okay. And then where after that? >> Okay. What did you do with her clothes? >> That's all. >> Did you throw those away too in the same trash cans? Like I said, it was like days before. It took me like a week or so. So long days away. >> Okay. >> Or two. >> Okay. So, her clothes um would they went in your dumpsters or they went across the street? >> Okay. Gotcha. >> Do you remember what she was wearing? What was it? >> That's what I told you. >> Just the blue sweatshirt. >> The >> what? Or the black shirt that's on the [ __ ] >> Something like that. Yeah. >> And then blue jeans. >> No, if I remember. >> Was there any blood on any of her clothes? No. >> Okay. >> So, after the thigh cuts, then what? head. >> Head. Okay. >> Was that with the skill saw, too, or was that a handsaw? >> Handsaw. >> Handsaw. Okay. Um, did you have to do you I know you said you think you used two or three bags. Um, do you remember how you bagged it? >> H >> Do you remember how you bagged parts? >> Put it in the bag. >> Remember specifically what? >> I just put it in the bag. >> Okay. >> And then the bags, did they go in the tote? Did you just carry the bags over? >> They when when they went in the tote. >> Okay. And then you brought the tote over and just dumped it in there. >> Huh? >> And then you brought the tote over? >> Oh, no. I brought few legs out and then part of the body I was heavier on that toe. >> Okay. >> You mean for the torso? Okay. Did you I know you had mentioned something with the rug. Can you explain that to me? >> That's coffee from another apartment building. >> Okay. Did you What did you use that for? I was in the dumpster. >> Okay. Did you use it to cover it? >> Mhm. >> So people wouldn't see or something. >> Okay. Was everything under the rug that you remember? Okay. Do you remember what color the rug was? >> It was carpet. >> I'm sorry. Carpet. Do you remember what color? >> Was like gray. Light gray. >> Light gray. Okay. take the top of course >> and then you I know you already told me but you cleaned up the garage cuz the sawdust had and other parts and whatnot. >> Okay. Did those go in the same trash bin? >> Yes. Different times from different times. >> Okay. >> Different bags, different things. >> Okay. But we're sure we put the body in the far dumpster, right? and everything else we're thinking in the closer dumpster. >> Okay. So, calling Jordan, what was the thought on that? Was that what was the reason for it? >> Huh? >> What was the reason for calling Jordan? I was told by David to do that. Sometimes it's time to finish up what we needed to do. Okay. Okay. And then did David call you on Sunday, the second time, >> or did you call him? >> I I don't think he even called me. I think he called me. >> Oh, good. Okay. Gotcha. What are we getting? >> Yeah, just a couple things to clarify. I know you I think I asked you this once already, but I have a terrible memory, so I apologize. Where's the pipe at? >> H >> What did you do with the pipe that you hit her with? >> That's I want to say it's gone. Where would when you say it's gone, where would that be? >> Getting cut up in small pieces and thrown away. >> Okay. How did you get cut up the pipe? >> My grinders. Okay. >> When did you think you did that? >> When do you think you did that? >> Before I cleaned everything up. >> So, like pretty soon after. >> Yeah. >> That would have gone. You said all that type of stuff went in your dumpsters that'd be for your building. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> When you when you hit her with the pipe, can you kind of show like how you hit her or where it hit on her head? >> All I remember was going straight down with it. >> Can you kind of show me like just move your arm like >> kind of like that? >> Okay. Are you left-handed? >> Mhm. >> Okay. That's the hand you had the pipe in. Okay. I know you said when you stabbed her in the neck, you didn't want to go all the way in. How far do you think the knife went into her neck? >> Probably not much. >> So maybe I started shaking too much. >> Okay. So is that about 3/4 to an inch? >> Yeah, probably. Okay. And then you said that David cut her across and she was in the bathtub, right? >> In the shower. Yeah. >> Okay. How much blood was coming out? >> A lot. >> What? When the blood was coming out, was it spurting or was it draining? >> It's more draining. >> More draining. Okay. How much of this did Andrea see? >> None. >> Did she see Destiny's body at all even after you hit her? >> Nope. >> But she just knew what happened. Okay. Do you remember what color trash bags you used? >> H >> Do you remember what color trash bags? >> Black, white, different ones. >> Different ones. Okay, >> grocery bags. >> Grocery bags. What would you use grocery bags for? >> Put some sawdust on small pieces of wood. >> Okay. >> That's what I was told. It would chew up the, you know, if something happens, like if you guys find stuff or whatever, it'd be harder for you guys to figure out what was going on >> as far as like find >> putting pieces together. >> Okay. Who told you that? >> David. >> David did. Okay. What do you think the last day was that you threw some of the body parts away? What's that day? >> Which day is that? I'm sorry. >> I see the body part all at once. >> All at the same day. >> You think that was last Friday? >> I must say it was like last Friday. Yeah. >> Okay. And then you cuz I know you said you kind of did things sporadically over time. So what was it that you were throwing away kind of at different points? >> Clothes. Pains falls. Okay. So, when was the last time you threw something away that was related to this? >> Probably the same day. >> Last Friday. So, it kind of all this kind of happened over a week basically. >> Mhm. >> And then it's been a while since anything's been going on. I think that's all that I have for stuff. Okay. So, can you hang tight real quick, bud? We're going to step out. Just try to figure out where we're going. Okay. I'll be right back with a hand. So, you don't need to hide it from me. I I I know you understand that. But the reason that we're here is because how honest you've been. Okay? You've been doing great. Okay? I know that this is awful for you and extremely hard, but it shows a lot about your personality that you're willing to make make a mistake and then be honest and straightforward about it. Okay? It's exactly what your dad was talking about when he got up out of that chair. You know, be honest, be a man. Do >> I need oils?
