Carter, right, and Elizabeth were able to do this. So around 10:54 p.m. on February 25th, 2025. Officer Alexander Miller with the Hoboken Police Department observed a 2022 Range Rover parked in the wrong direction on Fourth Street near the intersection with Washington Street. He advised dispatch and made contact with the two female occupants of the vehicle. As he was speaking with them, he observed indicators of impairment. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Somia, and she admitted to consuming one drink earlier that evening. Based on their suspicion of impairment, she was asked to perform field sobriety exercises after officer Dylan Archilla arrived on scene to assist. Okay. Yeah. So, in Hoboken, you're not allowed to. The second exercise was the walk and turn test. During the walk and turn test, Samia did not touch heel to toe on each step, turned improperly, and took an incorrect number of steps. The final exercise was the one leg stand test. During the one leg stand test, Samuel failed to raise her foot in the proper fashion and put her foot down before the test was complete. Only because I've only had dinner. You need to let me finish what I'm saying. I have to say all this. Okay. So, one more time, we're going to do three tests. Okay. So, am I? Somia was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. Her vehicle was impounded for a 12-hour hold according to J's law. Officer Archilla transported Samia to the Hoboken Police Department for further processing. I said I will tell you when we have you in custody and properly searched. Can you call 28? Registered owner can go pick up the car or when she's released to a to a silver party, they can go get the car and the insurance is expired, which it can be a reason for. I still don't even know who the registered owner is. You have no idea. She refused to answer, so I don't know who the registered owner is in relationship to her. Um, I'm going to make it 12, too. [Music] thicker. Samia was read the standard statement from motor vehicle operators at the station, but she refused to submit breath samples. Samia was eventually released to a sober adult pending her court appearance after they signed the potential warning form on Samia's behalf. Samia was issued the following citations operating under the influence. Refusal to submit to chemical test, concern to take samples of breath, reckless driving, and wrong way on oneway street.
