I want you to turn the body to him off to turn it off. >> Do you want to trespass? >> Trespass? Yeah. Please. >> As much as everybody seems to hate this drunk, contentious assistant attorney general. And yeah, that also means she's a filthy state prosecutor who just attempted to pull rank to get herself out of trouble. >> I don't want to arrest you guys. >> You're not going to arrest us. If I ask you to turn off the body cam, you have to turn it off. I'm an AG. I'm an AG. >> Good for you. >> I'm an AG. I'm an AG AG. I'm an AG. She's an AG. >> She should not have been placed in torture cuffs and arrested. Stay tuned and I'll tell you why. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. >> Here's the deal. So, here's the deal. >> Hey, this is Brian. Welcome back to the Here's the Deal channel. I wanted to cover this video. I know others have too, but there are people in the community who are saying that this Rhode Island or Newport cop did a good job by arresting this drunk special assistant attorney general for the state of Rhode Island. And I disagree. She should not have been arrested. I just want to say as entitled and spoiled as these two women act, don't let that cloud your judgment. As much as this woman attempts to leverage her position to get out of a jam, don't let that distort the facts. As cocky and belligerent as these two women are, this is still America. You can be cocky and belligerent with cops all you want. It's not illegal. It's not criminal. It's not unconstitutional. And the most important part to remember here is as crappy and evil as state prosecutors are, and that's what attorney generals and their assistants happen to be, if you call for her to be arrested, you're actually approving of your own arrest for the same reason later on down the road. We're going to review this interaction through the lens of the Constitution. This is an altercation between Rhode Island's special assistant AG attorney general Devin Hogan Flanigan and Newport Rhode Island cops. And just to set the stage so that we understand the gravity of this situation, the attorney general for each state is colloquially known as the top cop. And that makes smug, pugnacious, special assistant AG Devin Flanigan top cop number two. These people are chief legal officers and authorities over law enforcement matters. They oversee law enforcement at the state level and have significant influence on criminal justice policies and investigations. And just in case I wasn't clear enough, state prosecutors are horrible human beings. People like Devin Flanigan here represent the state versus the people. There's no telling how many innocent people are sitting in a cage right now because of the actions of Devin Flanigan and for that matter the Rhode Island cops who end up arresting her. So here's the story. On August 14th, 2025, Newport police responded to a call for an unwanted party at Clark Cook House restaurant at Banister's Wararf in Rhode Island. According to reports, the staff had asked both assistant top cop Devin Flanigan and her friend Veronica Hannon to leave. They refused, and that's where the action begins. Now, as the cops arrive, I want you to note that both women and their male friend are standing out on the public sidewalk. That is important. >> You should not shut off. >> I want you to turn your body off. Protocol is that you turn it off. If a citizen request is to turn it off, >> so they want you guys to leave. >> Yes, we're >> Let's just leave. Let's just make it easy. Okay. >> We're going to make it easy. >> That's not I am. >> That's not the point. Can you Can you look at me? >> We'll talk over here. Okay. >> Your protocol is >> Can we Can we all talk? Can we all talk? >> Talk over here. They want you to leave. >> Can we Can we talk to you? >> What's that? >> She is our college friend. >> Yes. >> No. No. I'm not. >> You guys just want to know? Do you want to trespass? >> Anything we can do. Trespass? Yeah. I just need >> trespass. Get them out, please. >> Wait a minute. Trespass. Get them out. They are not in the establishment. And the establishment doesn't own the public sidewalk. This cop just did what we're all against. He solicited a trespass for two people. Two Americans. Forget about what their positions are. Soliciting a trespass for two Americans standing on a public sidewalk. No, I'm not. >> No, I'm not. Do >> you want to chat? >> I know that your protocol is >> So, you're trespassing. We got to leave now. Unless you want to be in >> We're not trespassing. You haven't notified us that we're trespassing. >> What did I just say to you? >> Trespassing. Got to leave where? If people in the auditing community are for this cop arresting this woman, and she will be arrested from a public sidewalk. Are they saying that they're approving of this same action to befall them one day? >> Number one, I don't want to arrest you guys. >> You're not going to arrest us. Number two, >> let's leave. We got to go. We got to go. >> The protocol is is if we ask you to turn the body off this, I understand you don't want to deal with it, but the protocol is and your protocol is is if I ask you to turn off the body cam, you have to turn it off. And a prosecutor, a state prosecutor is telling a cop that it's okay for him to turn his body camera off. That right there tells me that she's no stranger to corruption and cover up. >> That's your protocol. She's aing lawyer, so she knows. >> Well, that's [ __ ] lawyer stuff, so that's not true. So, we got to go. >> No, it is. That's That's the law. >> I'm an AJ. I'm an AJ. >> Good for you. I don't give a [ __ ] Let's go. >> We're going. We're leaving. Please don't put your hands on us. >> Can you get your children out? >> That cop has no right to put his hands on anybody standing on a public sidewalk for any reason unless they're harming somebody, threatening to harm somebody, damaging property. >> You're like, I don't know why. >> I'm sorry. What? >> Let's go. They're two full grown women and mother is just >> I'm an ag. >> What are you What you >> Yeah, she's trying to leverage her power. She's trying to get a benefit from the cops that the rest of us wouldn't have access to. But the point is, this cop is putting his hands on two women, two Americans, as they're standing on a sidewalk after they solicited a trespass from restaurant owners who don't own the sidewalk. >> What's wrong with you? >> What are you probable cause to detain me for? >> You're being detained cuz you're not >> cuz I'm you have >> you relax, sir. Sir, she's not doing anything wrong. AG. >> I'm an AG. >> You're not. She's not even >> They should have shut the freak up cuz they have a perfect lawsuit against the Rhode Island or the Newport Police Department. Perfect lawsuit. There's no reason, no lawful reason to arrest somebody who's standing on a public sidewalk outside of a restaurant who just said, "Yeah, I want I want you cops to cuff them." >> You guys just want to know, do you want to trespass? >> Anything we can do. Trespass. Yeah, I just need trespass. Got to know, please. Let's go. >> I'm not being arrested. You're putting me in cuffs. I'm not being arrested. Do >> you have any weapons on you? >> No, I'm an EG. >> Her badge is in your car. You want to give me a badge? >> Let me tell you something. You're >> get the hell out of here. What are you, buddy? Seriously, >> you're arresting an EG. Let me tell you something. >> Are you arrest? No. >> You're putting me in handcuffs and you're merizing. You're not morirandizing me. >> Relax. Relax. Honey, you're going to regret this. >> I got to tell you, I love when top authoritarian psychopaths clash with underling authoritarian psychopaths cuz each one is always used to getting their own way. >> You're going to regret it. >> How many Take your hands off. >> We will get your [ __ ] hands off. >> We will get back. >> No. No. No. No. No. Get the hell out of here. Get out of here. >> Get back. Get back right now. >> No. No. >> By the way, this kind of treatment is what the cops do to auditors and cameramen and photographers all the time. and we're always against that. Why wouldn't we be against this? Yeah, they're cocky. Yeah, they're belligerent. Yeah, they're entitled brats with a bunch of power. But if you call for state power to come upon them, you're also calling for state power to come upon you and I. >> Get back. >> Yep. >> Unfreaking believable. >> I love this. >> I'm right here. right here. >> I love that. >> Come on. >> She's an escape artist. >> No. No. >> I don't think I've ever seen that before. That's hilarious. >> Babe, I'm right here. >> No. Babe, please. I'm scared. >> I'm right here. >> Please don't do this. Please. >> No. I'm not going to find those. >> I'm right here. >> No. >> Okay. >> No. Please don't do this, my friend. >> I'm right here. >> No. No. No, babe. Babe, >> I'm right here. >> Babe, >> I'm right here. >> No, babe. >> Relax. Relax. Relax. >> Relax. >> What's wrong? >> Got the damn torture cuffs on for two women standing on a public freaking sidewalk. >> Relax. >> We don't want to put you in handcuffs. Let's go. >> Let's go. >> No. >> Listen, you're making You're overreacting. >> You're adding charges. >> You're overreacting. >> [ __ ] >> No crime committed. You're adding charges. No. Can you see my hands up? Do you think you have our hands up? No. You were overreacting. >> You didn't have this. You didn't have to have this happen. >> We're kidnapping you, but you are the one overreacting. We have you in torture cuffs, but you're overreacting. We're going to take you to a cage and maybe do a body cavity check, but you're the one overreacting. I hate this. >> Get in the car. No, no, no, >> babe. No, >> I'm right here. >> Just put her in. Get back, bro. >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Americans are applauding this. They love this. They support the cops in this. Do you? [Applause] >> I'm right here. I'm right here. No, Dan. Please >> get your feet in the car. >> No. >> Dad. >> Babe, I'm right here. >> No. D. >> No. >> Get your feet in the car. >> Get your feet in the car. >> You're a grown adult. You're acting like a kid. >> You're acting like a kid. Well, you, sir, are acting like an aggressive, perverted kidnapper. Bab, I'm right here. I'm right here. >> No. Who the [ __ ] are you? This is so inappropriate. >> You're You're overreacting. >> It's just like an abuser to tell a victim, you're the one overreacting. >> So, they weren't trespassing stick. Travis, we've got you in >> and no good cops on the scene to ask. Yeah, but where are you trespassing them from? Were they inside the restaurant? Were they in the establishment? Because nobody can rightly, constitutionally, legally be trespassed from a public sidewalk. Let me just give you the lay of the land here. This is the Clark Cookhouse restaurant. This is the podium where the cops solicited the trespass. And this is where the women were standing. They were standing right here on the red brick. They were partially right here on this walkway. And if you look, this is a walkway street. This is a public access area. When the cops rolled up, when they initially got there, the women were standing exactly in this spot right here. Let's review the tape. Here's the podium right here. There's the podium right here. You can see this woman in the white dress. She's standing right there firmly planted on the sidewalk. As the cops walk up, you see that the assistant attorney general is also on the sidewalk. They're not inside the business. They're standing out in public. Not unlike auditors who stand on public sidewalks in front of businesses all the time. So, if I don't want them arrested off of a public sidewalk, and if I don't want these Yahoos soliciting a trespass from business owners, then why in the heck would I want her arrested off of a public sidewalk? And why would I want these guys soliciting a trespass from business owners for people like her? As the conversation with the cop progresses, it becomes more clear that they're standing on the sidewalk and not in the establishment. So, whatever you may think about these women and however this one decided that she would leverage her power and authoritize, what do you think? Should they have been arrested off of a public sidewalk? Are people in the auditing community actually approving of soliciting a trespass now or am I completely out to lunch? And did anybody happen to see the cop's hand around her neck? Are we approving of that, too? Yeah, they act entitled, bratty, belligerent, repugnant, and cocky. But are we now going to approve of cops arresting people who are standing on public sidewalks after having solicited a trespass from the owner of an establishment that doesn't own the sidewalks? Cuz if we are, I'd really like to know about that. It almost seems like the public's general reaction to this and approval of law enforcement action is actually a law enforcement initiated psychological operation to get you and I to call for the chains of our own oppression. But that's just me. If you think I'm wrong about this, leave your thoughts in the comment section below.
