video i have for today
is an incident where officers were
dispatched to an area
on a call about shots fired and while
they were
in the area investigating the shots
another call came in
about a woman who was rolling around in
the snow
and acting strange so the officers
quickly checked the area where the
gunshots were reported
just to make sure nobody was hurt and
that there was nothing going on
and then they diverted over to where
this woman was
what you'll see is a person who appeared
to be under
the influence of some form of drugs or
narcotics
and she was acting a little bit out of
sorts
it was very cold outside the officers
were wearing their coats and jackets
and she was complaining that she was hot
and taking off her
jacket and later on the video trying to
take off more of her clothing
she attributed this to uh well i'll let
you watch the video and you can see what
she was blaming on being hot
so the officer spoke to her for a little
bit asked her some common questions
about
you know what day it was where she was
where she lives her name
she was able to answer all those
questions so while she was intoxicated
she appeared
that she was in a condition that she
could actually make it home so the
officers told her to walk home
then one of the officers decided to
stick around and keep an eye on her
and she didn't quite make it home so the
officer stopped and talked to her a
second time
and that's when he decided to call for a
medic to come look at her
the medics came by spoke to her ended up
getting her home
so everything worked out in the end i
just thought this was an interesting
interaction between the officers and
this citizen
the type of thing that people don't get
to see every day and i
wanted to share it with you so with all
that being said

area because there was
a report of shots being fired oh yeah
there was two cars
i seen that i heard two uh shots fired
too and two cars went flying down uh
south richardson it was a suv and then a
car right behind it speeding
so they was like chasing each other it
was like a
tannish color i do believe in it what
color vehicle was following it
i think it was like a silvers i think it
was like a nissan i think silver nissan
yeah it's like a gray silver nice it's
gray or silver it was a dark color okay
now she just stood up and there's
okay the officer just pulled into
the uh doctor's office
and he just got his lights off which way
did they go
they went they went left they actually
missed the where they're supposed to go
though
he's getting up he's like and i gotta
move because there's people like looking
at me i don't want to get in trouble
either okay
back to that shot being fired after you
saw the shots
then you saw the camera i didn't see the
shots i just heard it and then i seen
the two cars
yeah i heard the shots i didn't see it
but then i seen the cars they was like
speeding
and they turned right going down broad
it's from where you're at
yeah from where i'm at so they'd be
heading towards like i think it
would be central
um like it was a it was a big it was one
of the big body suvs
it was like a chevy tannish colored one
and then
it was a four-door it was gray or silver
but it's a little four-door car
and i want to say it's a nissan

just pulled on the street
i think that officer is headed to where
