[Music] on October 4th 2023 the Jupiter Police Department received a frantic 911 call from Jupiter Pediatric Associates in Jupiter Florida the caller reported that a man armed with a large knife had grabbed 65-year-old Dr Philip Kazo from behind put him in a headlock and stabbed him at least five times before fleeing the scene the suspect later identified as 28-year-old Nicholas David paresco had been targeting Dr Kazo for unknown reasons sending him bizarre and incoherent text messages leading up to the attack after the stabbing paresco sped away in a white Lexus sedan sparking a high-speed chase that crossed into Indian River County dispatch has been the inside in the Middle [Music] Lane for vehicle by the bridge driving on [Music] the 13 roll Road [Music] dispatch has [Music] been the suspect drove recklessly sideswiping the deputy's vehicle in a desperate attempt to escape when the deputy tried to box him in [Music] hasd be go distruct my vehicle the suspect hit speeds of 120 mph briefly gaining distance from pursuing deputies however with real-time updates from a helicopter relayed by the crime Center deputies stayed hot on his Trail in the left lane over 120 mph are9 I have
