on December 3rd 2022 Dunwoody police officers were called to Perimeter Mall in Atlanta Georgia regarding a fight between women upon arrival officers first spoke with a mother and daughter who were accompanied by a small child okay so we're coming down the coming down Tom mall to drop them off for work she comes flying down the aisle and almost hit inside of me and so you know I'm blowing to keep her from hitting me when my daughter get out the car she talking all this junk about all this but you were the one world no no that's not what happened we got when she hit us I said calm down she bit so I said like calm down get out the car then she didn't do that when I when I walked into work she SE she said oh that she just talk could left me alone just keep going I'm telling you going on I'm working on myself just leave me alone you didn't listen she hit my mom I I forgot about what happened sorry that's my mom pretty sure somebody hit your mom you same so she hit your mom come here so she hit your mom and the fight started going both y'all started hitting each other okay are you injured at all okay where did she hit you at um I think she hit my face but it was like not like got you and why' she hit you cuz she when she when I W you know when we walking up I was just like you know you hit her you you about to hit me you know why you fussing what do you mad what are you angry for you about to hit my car and she you know just was going on it it happened so fast on hly I don't even you know what she hit you with her hands yeah I mean we were actually fighting yall might want to see if she have a gun cuz she catch her I swear to God keep on keep on I swear to God with her hand in her purse that's the other party all right there it was her against them too this is Mom so apparently Mom is driving her to work over up here she comes hauling but through the parking lot almost hits them so Road Rachel situation out there they honk their horns at each other start talk apparently she follows she follows him uh up or follows him inside he's like oh you work here you could have just waited blah blah blah blah yeah followed them inside and at some point they were exchange of word she hauled off and hit the mom and she standed up for her mom started fighting with her both of them started fighting together yeah I'm good these versus her yall have IDs you your IDs n my stuff in my Pur in the car no she didn't she somebody you start I swear to God this all my life all I told her was slow down you having a bad day you can't be mad you Wen in the room we were trying to prevent an accident happening from your car then it would have been your fault it would have made it even worse was he around when it happened oh yeah he was but he wasn't around yeah friend him back you going get jum come on man yeah yeah he wasn't doing anything he just was trying to break it up being kids off intin somebody to your mom next officers spoke with the other woman involved in the altercation Who provided a very different version of events IIT they so I'm like my bag on here she opening the door outside like bch doing all that so I'm like girl go ahead it's my daughter birthday you know what I'm saying she got a party today so I'm like going over there you know what I'm saying so I'm walking in she walking in you almost there I said little girl get up get the [ __ ] away from me I said I'm grown as hell I'm not about to do this with you so she get the yelling in the M talk about [ __ ] I drop your ass and do you know all this I said little girl so security was coming I said listen who you who you talking to this little girl right here what she have on or both they jump me and the son so I'm telling her like you know I talk security you feel me get get her you know talk to her because I'm telling you like me gr about the situation it's my daughter birthday she walked up and said [ __ ] I don't give a [ __ ] [ __ ] your daughter [ __ ] and it threw our cup at me her cup of juice at me so we got the fight the mama ran up and jumped in the brother ran up and jumped in and that's what happened and I tried for handle it the right way you know what I'm saying I Ain no kid if we was outside of here would have been way different but we're I'm grown my daughter come first I don't give a damn I'll go get security on your ass when it come to my child you know what I'm saying cuz if if I knew it was going to be all this I might as well wh your ass before I came in here when you was bothering me then I I told her to go on on she ran up in my face before we even started fighting I beat your ass I put my [ __ ] down said little girl go on up by my face like I'm telling you go on up by my face and that's when they were when I let them know what was going on so you said it started from oh right don't right here by vict right here okay so just so when did all of this occur like this this literally just happened like 5 minutes ago no bull crap and started from where again you said out top and somebody how you coming out like the parking lot and somebody coming past I didn't see them it was blocked so when I se them I slamed on my brakes and she all yelling through the window and open the door and I'm like you know go on like she started from there I don't mean that you mind if I take first I got noap in my so then she uh I'm coming and we was walking in at the same time and she was like girl cuz you almost [ __ ] hit us and and all this and I'm like little girl you said there was some you said there was some guys with them yeah it was a boy in the blue J he jumped me they all three jumped me is he not over here right now no he ain't over here he probably took yeah they all jum the mama the daughter and the we come on I'm sorry just worry about what's going on you understand um however you know we just trying to make sure we get everything together right so when I was attacked okay I was bothered and I tried to handle it the right way ask need any medical attention you need I think I I a even s myself my adrenaline R I can't feel nothing but the love right here I'm good your hair out the way huh move your hair out the way shirt arm shoulder officer going down offic to watch the video if there's any video just see what's going on no that's cool you have to also get both sides take some pictures of anything like that security informed officers that surveillance footage was available to confirm the sequence of events and stated that the daughter had initiated the fight you have video surveillance yeah we're going through right now see what we got y did either one of y'all observe the fight start yes sir what happened well um they were yelling back and forth and then the the black and white she ran up through the ice water and you be more descriptive on what happened oh okay yeah so um when she threw the water we grabbed her but we didn't see her brother come around and then another another security officer was trying to handle him while the mom while the mom just ran up and just started fighting her so basically by the end of it uh her brother had hands on her I had the sister back and we were trying to pull the mom and the brother off of her the mom and the brother off of her so the brother was attacking her too yes hey question are you all wanting to press charges against her yes [Music] I'm M secur says they have video footage so I'd like to see that that's whereever it's at now I'm going to go down ever all right yeah after reviewing the footage officers confirmed that the daughter had thrown a drink at The Other Woman initiating the fight and the mother later joined her where' yall see where she go she's right there behind the bush so she throws a drink mom's not with them at a time mom's all the way there she daughter to get to her holds back M comes up and uh we just going get you can see you can see the boy come up you can't see what they're doing cuz this thing's walking the camera here I'll get the the or something like see started something the mom comes out of nowhere yeah that's the brother trying to keep everybody separate separ um she up [Music] T yeah SE where's the song right you [Music] see a brother but he tried to brother's trying to get separate separate brother's goinging to take custody all right so Mom and daughter's going to go then both the mother and daughter were arrested they appeared confused and repeatedly insisted that the other woman had attacked them first but the video evidence clearly contradicted their claims where he he went inside all right we'll go ahead and explain it to you guys okay so based off the video footage we have here as well as the witness that we have as well both yall going to be placed under arest wait wait wait can I like can I let somebody come get my out first the brother the time being and then you make those arrangements okay video for all right okay so both yall will be placed under arrest for uh for that both y'all stories sides of it will be also included in the report just let you guys know get but she won't but as of right now based off the physical evidence that we have as well as the witness statements we have she came at her and okay so the issue came that unfortunately man when you when you threw the drink at her that started the whole commotion all right but she was already ping I got you buting buting busting and cussing doesn't mean I can throw anything and start a fight yeah we're not going to arest have an argument right it's when things start physical which is the drink being thrown from well can I just me uh no ma'am no because there was a choice made as well to enter that fight which you did why because I saw my daughter F and I I'm going to defend my child I get that aspect of it however just like you would defend yours right but there is still consequences for it can't do that just like on drink catch on the drink so we're going to hold off cuz we don't want to do anything in front of little man here okay so that's why we're going to hold off right now until we can get situated all right no problem understand that's violation yeah oh I but you know again it's all good officers released the child to her brother who worked at the mall did you get his info yeah get his info too cuz we're going to have to get it so we can say we release this to him hey you have your ID with you sir all right 77 all right so U he's going to take a picture of your neck really quick or your chest and the bru on your arm too anything that you have going on right now take all right so we reviewed the video footage uh we see that she does throw a drink at you and then Mom comes up and tries to tackle you and attack you you they're both going to be placed into custody okay yes um we'll get you a case number here in just a second um but one thing I suggest when I was checking for the weapon I saw the pill bottles with the plastic baggies and pills in them make sure you're carrying the pills in the proper container okay I know they're just tiing all but for us when we see a plastic bag inside a prescription bottle it gives off the wrong side all right we thought it was narcotics so make sure you carry them in the right container if it's time all just put it in the time off guess so all right hang tight we'll get you a case number and um you'll be summoned to court if you want to go to court all right uh I think it's going to be like February 8th or something like that so she wants to press charger so we're going to do simple assault yeah yeah let's go around the corner right here just so he can't see all right right there's good all right do do his favorite turn around for us don't cry don't cry we not do in front of turn don't that we man would you like to take those bracelets off and give those to him okay from the Sun yeah they were dropping so just give you guys some more information they are going to put a criminal trespass ban against you guys as well y'all can no longer return to permanent ball all right they're asking us to do that so you make sure that's Tak care me explain explain sorry I just don't want to explain that through the city cuz that includes our fighting clause or we might do simple assault which is warrants for misdemeanor all right Mis meanor simple assault simple simple assault or something both of them [Music] go ahead officers showed leniency by charging them with disorderly conduct instead of simple assault they were then transported to the deob county jail to prevent any further confrontation officers asked the victim to leave the mall for the remainder of the day my baby okay can I ask you just go ahead and leave for the day leave for him tomor cuz I listen I know he still works here he's still going to be here I don't want anything to escalate all right there's there's some other stores around the corner maybe get you taken care of but I don't want you to go in here
