Judge Christina Peterson has been the subject of multiple Fox 5 IT team investigations since taking office in late 2020. On June 25th, the Georgia Supreme Court ruled she should be removed from the bench. The court also barred her from holding any judicial position in Georgia for the next 7 years. In April, the Judicial Qualifications Commission found her guilty of systemic incompetence, citing her disregard for courthouse rules, mistreatment of staff, inappropriate social media posts, and repeated failure to perform her duties. The decision followed four separate hearings beginning in September 2023. Peterson faced 30 counts of misconduct. [Applause] [Music]
