#CrimeCamNow On June 20, 2024, an Atlanta police officer working an extra job at Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge in Buckhead, Georgia, noticed a disturbance outside the venue. Security was attempting to escort a woman off the property when the officer stepped in to assist with deescalating the situation. During the incident, another woman—later identified as Douglas County Judge Christina Peterson—approached, yelling at both the security guard and the officer. Peterson then shoved the officer in the chest. As the officer continued trying to help with the initial disturbance, Peterson repeatedly interfered, even swiping at the officer’s hands.
