on May 2nd 2023 a concerned neighbor called the chambley police department after spotting a woman believed to be intoxicated sitting in a car on her driveway with a young child officers arrived at the scene the neighbor who recorded a video of the incident expressed concerned that the woman was a habitual Drinker and had seen her intoxicated before a concerned neighbor took the young child into their home to provide Comfort while police investigated hey where you at here okay I Bo next door oh okay all right thank you we all the ones that called yeah okay excellent I'm fine I got You' I'm not going to shine in your face I just want to make sure you're okay are you okay ma'am 39 I'm out what's her what's her history uh it's not the first time this has happened what's her history she is Tech she's the custodian of the boy she's her aunt her sister was an alcoholic and druggie so she took the boy on when he was a baby she's had years but I mean I think she's had some alcohol problems in the past okay all right that's what I thought but we're up here I N there ain't no need for that she's she's intoxicated pretty sure she's intoxicated she was passed out on the ground neighbors saw her passed out uh he's got the kid apparently there was a kid out or whatever kid in the car with him over here okay is anybody else here her no uh no just her officers first checked on the woman's well-being offering medical assistance which she refused the woman claimed she was simply playing a game with her son in the driveway is this her yes it is her son let me see I'm trying to locate her son I think she said he's over here she said she thinks something asking me oh he's I I mean I don't think but I know that he is okay with my friends are you okay ma'am yes 100% but she was Ling the obvious was passed out in the driver seat he's got a video did you see that no I didn't mon CU I came straight to here just to make sure she was so checked that out and she was sitting in the driver's seat regardless on that video with the son in the driver's seat while she's passed out and she she just admitted to driving here okay um so and obviously she's got that damage to her Tire okay and she's trying to say she's not intoxicated but if you I'mma look at the video yeah so see if she has someone starts to pick up her um son so we need to get a whole defax that's what we need to do okay um so let's let's figure out we'll get mon to do the the uh child aspect of it I have to worry about okay you know what you can see as far as DUI and stuff like that if you want to go that direction grandmother and the mother or whatever okay she lives in in where she had just came from over there that's where they came from today okay and she lives too far okay so there's a half brother who's in
