Dispatch checks through leads for both local and Texas records yielded no results. Officers informed him he was being detained and attempted to handcuff him. He resisted by tensing his arms and locking his elbows. Despite multiple commands to stop resisting, he continued to struggle. To affect the arrest, an officer administered two to three knee strikes to the back of his right thigh. He then ceased resisting and officers were able to place him in handcuffs.
