buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens Upon arrival at Walgreens, Officers Pesavento, Kreis, and Meza located Nobles in an aisle. Nobles admitted to having unpaid merchandise in his pockets, which he then removed. A further check revealed no additional items. When asked for identification, Nobles stated he had none and verbally identified himself. Dispatch checks through LEADS for both local and Texas records yielded no results. Officers informed Nobles he was being detained and attempted to handcuff him. Nobles resisted by tensing his arms and locking his elbows. Despite multiple commands to stop resisting, Nobles continued to struggle. To effect the arrest, Officer Pesavento administered 2-3 knee strikes to the back of Nobles' right thigh. Nobles then ceased resisting, and officers were able to place him in handcuffs. He was charged with Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer, Firefighter, or Correctional Institution Employee, Obstructing Identification, Criminal Trespass to Real Property, and Possession of Controlled Substance. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #joliet #walgreens #news
