On February 21st, 2025, police in Sakus, New Jersey responded to TJ Maxx on a report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, police located the suspect walking through the parking lot trying to evade the officer. Here's what occurred. I'm staying just sir. Sir, stop. Stop. Stop. Sir, stop. Come here. He called you called and said you're shoplifting. This officer said to stop and you kept walking. If you just talked to him, we would figure this all out. You wouldn't have had any handcuffs. Okay. We're not giving you a hard time. We're really not. Right. We're me. We're being cooperative. We're trying to figure this out. You have no idea. Yes, sir. How you doing? All right. Look. All right. I was like, cuz I'm I'm I'm homeless right now. I was going to shop list, but the guy was like, "Leave it right there. Get out the store." So, I did that. I'm like, "You know what? I'm going to count my blessing before you and that's it. I'm being honest." And I didn't take it or anything. Left everything there. That's it. All right. You have the right to be used against you in court. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her prison while you're being questioned. Sir can afford to hire a lawyer and will be appointed to represent you before any question upon your request. Oh [ __ ] During their investigation, police arrested a 33-year-old male for shoplifting, hindering apprehension for providing false information to the police, obstructing the administration of law, possession of CDS believed to be heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also found to have one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff's Office with no bail. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. [Music]
