On October 23rd, 2025, officers were monitoring the dispersal of spectators following a high school football game when a heated verbal altercation broke out in the stands. As police moved in to separate the agitated crowd, a simple request to move out of the way led to a sudden physical confrontation between a spectator and an officer.
