On January 8th, 2024, police in Illinois responded to Walmart on a shoplifting call where the suspect had stolen power tools and had already left the store. After an investigation, police were able to identify the shoplifter and located his vehicle at a nearby Red Roof Inn and obtained a warrant to search the room he was staying in.
