hey panal County thought you'd like to see this video of a crazy couple days my deputies had on I 10 to include someone we had to pull out of a canal after he ran from us my anti smuggling unit and canine deputies were working interdiction on I 10 when they initiated a traffic stop on an individual he fled from my deputies and ended up both him and his vehicle in the canal and he had to be rescued by our deputies as you can see let's just say the tow truck had a harder time getting the vehicle out of the canal than we did saving the guy and getting him out of the canal and later that same day talk about seeing the able not the label individual stole a car only had one leg he also had nothing to say another deputy pulled over a vehicle that had five illegals in it who were turned over to border patrol and later that same day Troopers initiated a Pursuit that started on I 10 my deputies assisted it ended up in on Interstate 8 almost a he Le Ben where DPS was able to stop the vehicle she wouldn't get out of the vehicle and SWAT had to come and retrieve from the vehicle my deputies are not only looking for smuggling activity headed Northbound but also southbound in fact the next day they stopped a vehicle that had $140,000 cash in it I want to thank my anti-smuggling unit K9 deputies and federal partners for the great work on this detail thank you panel County it's an honor to serve
