Hey everyone, if you didn't know, meth is back to killing more people than fentanyl in Panell County. That's why I'm very appreciative of my detectives for getting a bunch more of it off the street. This all started from a traffic stop on the freeway that further led to an investigation that brought my K9 and interdiction units up to Phoenix where we had a drug bust on Friday night. We got 129 lbs of meth off the street, 50 lbs of fentanyl pills, and 4 lb of fentanyl powder. According to the Office of the Medical Examiner, meth deaths are on their way up. In fact, methamphetamine was responsible for 50% more deaths and fentanyl. That's why I'm so appreciative of my deputies for getting these dangerous drugs off the streets. It's an honor to serve.
