We think someone started miles of wildfires because they were dragging chains. We received a bunch of calls from people telling us about miles of wildfire along Highway 79 south of Florence. This was a bunch of different fires where they would start, then the vegetation would be fine, and then they'd start again. Miles of Highway 79 needed to be closed so the firefighters could deal with these multiple fires. Look, it's not even summer.
