on the afternoon of March 18th 2023 the
Orlando Police Department responded to
the scene at Universal Studios in
Orlando Florida for reports of a
potential theft inside of the theme park
the following shows the bodyw warn
camera footage of what happened during
the incident for now so um we were on
the build Drive which is like it's a
it's a water ride where you sit in a
circle right and when I got on I took
the um I took my my purse backpack off
and I set it in the center thing that
keeps things from getting wet okay and I
got off the ride and realized I didn't
have my purse and I turned around to get
it but like they they constantly fill
them and keep going so I let staff know
and they looked in every single one they
could and it was gone so I went I found
security and I mean this is like like a
15minute time frame and by the time that
I went to a store and they called
security for me and by that time the
first charge came up on my card you know
how much is the first charge yeah I I
have on the um on the witness statement
I made a list of every charge okay um
and like they and I so I immediately
started walking my cards and and then
they continued to try but they were
getting declined because I was able to
lock
them he pointed out like there
was I know who it is now and it was the
man that was sitting right next to next
y all right he was sitting right next to
me on the barch can you describe him uh
yeah I mean he's uh
probably 30s 40s Latino stocky um
he had on he had on shorts he definitely
had tattoos on his legs I remember a few
tattoos on his legs um he had I I he had
specific Nike sneakers the Nike sneakers
that he had on were like
um they like a special edition um
cartoon something cuz I I noticed them
and they were unusual like like
Sylvester or something weird like
that what what you know what color
they're white and then they had like um
they they definitely had red on
them and they were they were very
specific and I only know that CU you're
supposed to keep your shirt and shoes on
and took a shoes and socks off and when
he put them in the thing I noticed them
so was your whole purse missing or or
your card or my my purse and inside my
purse was a wallet an iPhone 13 Pro Max
which was my daughter-in-laws and we
tried to track it and they had already
like locked it um so credit cards my my
business ID my driver's license my
daughter-in-law's driver's license very
little cash maybe like 30 bucks um you
don't okay so are you guys from Florida
we're from Maine Maine okay my son lives
here got so if we can figure out you
know this is a guy did all this stuff
I'm I'm just starting to investigate
talking to you first um would you like
to prosecute and press charges I
absolutely would and I'll come back if I
have to do you have um do you guys have
sworn statements I know you wrote them a
statement I need one for um for
police I don't have I don't have um
service right now for some reason so I
if I can get on Wifi I can show you the
I can find those shoes cuz they were
very specific and my son's a shoe guy
yeah so that's why I was like oh those
those are probably worth some money he
probably didn't pay for them he probably

um I know you guys have a statement but
like the one from police do you guys

were other people using that one that

the one big one they actually have on

like $300 $300 on a credit card now was
that credit card yours no do you know
whose credit card it was no how did you
get the credit card uh

almost find the bug in in a w I think
and they they found a bag yeah like a
like a purse or yeah purse okay and
where's that purse at now you know who
gave it who gave you that purse no
nobody gave me the purse they just gave
me the the card and told
me okay who gave you the
card it was uh I was with my brother my
brother your brother gave you the card
no he didn't give it to me I mean it was
in the purse they found the purse
because he's telling me that I I I have
they have a video with me with the purse
I never have a purse with so who who all
right
so you're trying to avoid get tell me
who gave you the pur all right so I I
just want to know that way we get some
understand cuz this lady still missing
stuff okay all right okay but I told uh
they found on the PO uh right they found
the purse the purse but I don't know
where they where has to be around there
but okay so you and your brother were
ride yeah and then um no it was uh me
and my my brother my daughter okay and
and another there's more people on the
ride so you guys were on a ride right
with um the victim and then your no that
I think she wasn't even there okay so
you guys saw a purse that didn't belong
to you somebody saw it yeah they they
they grabbed the bag right and they gave
I grabbed I didn't even so cuz I grabb
my shoes and everything and I had my my
chair yeah and then I walked off to to
put my my my shoes and then I think
that's when they they grabbed it I
didn't s them you didn't see them grab
it but somebody gave you a credit card
yeah you know what kind of credit card
what kind like what bank what color was
it it was like uh I don't know Capital
Capital One or something I don't know I
don't is the the thing is is like a
custom card okay do you know a color or
a character or describe the card for me
it was like a
a a what like a passage like you know
like a picture of something okay but
like like and then you took that you
knew it wasn't yours and then you went
to the store and use the car and you was
a dumb mistake I have money to buy to
buy my my own stuff and and again how
how much money was it that you use like
300

um cuz he say that I think they have
videos right this camera's everywhere
you can check you can check like and
which other stores did you try to use
the credit card or how many times you
tried no just I use it on on that store
do you try anywhere else uh no no just
that one store and that's it okay um and
you knowingly knew it wasn't yours and
you use the card anyways and you know
that's that's steing right yeah so you
know you knew what you were doing
okay many you ever been arrested before
uh yeah before for what uh for uh I was
arrested for immigration immigration
yeah and I was like three months in
Chrome you know
Chrome okay but I wasn't like uh
fighting for but the the case is close
and who who you here with family yeah is
that all yours yeah that's all yours
this is yours yeah okay and this stuff
right here this is all the stuff you
bought with the lady's credit card uh
but some of the some of it it's not mine
