on May 12th 2023 in sturdavant Wisconsin an on duty officer in an unmarked patrol car witnessed a vehicle on the roadway that was frequently speeding up and slowing down coming very close to the vehicle in front of it the officer also witnessed the vehicle's tires cross into a different Lane multiple times because of this a traffic stop was initiated hello hi hi officer lamster Serv Police Department the reason I'm stopping you you're kind of in and out of your lane back there a little bit sorry I was just trying to like I'm not from this area I'm trying to figure out where I am from I'm literally 20 minutes 23 minutes away from home okay so I'm literally I'm trying to figure out where I am okay fair enough fair enough where you coming from tonight um I was out in rine my friend do a supplement to confirm what you saw because I was heading the other way she was talking to me and it was very slurred you want me to try and get not on driver's side approach there and just talk test what I need you to do is imagine a straight line in front of you what I need you to do is take your left foot put that right on that line all right now take your right foot place it Heel To Toe right in front of it keep your arms down at your side nope stay stay with your left foot and then your right foot in front of it yep all right perfect just stay just like that nope stop back up one step she just wants you to stand I just want you to stand with your left foot down and your right foot heel the toe right in front of it okay and just stand like that yep keep your arms down at your sides okay I'm going to explain the test I'm going to demonstrate it and then I'll have you do it okay all right so I'm going to stand like you are okay left foot down right foot in front of it arms are at my sides when I tell you to begin you're going to take nine Heel To Toe steps forward on that that line when you get to that ninth step leave that lead foot down on the ground using your other foot take a series of small steps to turn around and then you're going to take nine heel toe steps back so I'm going to demonstrate what that's going to look like for you so if you want to watch my feet here okay so one two three again all the way up until 9 leave that lead foot on the ground take a series of small steps like this and nine Heel To Toe steps back one two three again all the way up until 9ine okay the whole time what I need you to do is keep looking at your feet count out loud keep your arms on at your side and don't stop the test until you believe you have finished it do you a 3/4 full bottle of Jose quvo that was located behind the center console she was charged with ow3 operating with prohibited alcohol concentration third and resisting or obstructing an officer she was found guilty of OWI and sentenced 45 days with a bracelet monitor 10 months of probation as well as having her license suspended for 2 years years [Music]
