Going back southbound 19. On May 16th, 2025 at approximately 1:00 a.m. at the New Orleans Parish Jail, chaos erupted. In one of the boldest jailbreaks in recent US history, 10 inmates pulled off a daring escape that stunned authorities. Exploiting a faulty cell door, the inmates removed a toilet and escaped through a hole in the wall, leaving behind mocking graffiti that read, "Too easy lol." complete with an arrow pointing to the hole. Law enforcement scrambled to respond, and within hours eight of the 10 escapees were captured. But as of the release of this video, two inmates remain on the run. Among those recaptured were Leo Tate and Jermaine Donald, who were caught after an intense high-speed chase. Both men have been transferred to the Walker County Jail and have already stood before a judge. A New Orleans jail maintenance worker, 33-year-old Sterling Williams, has been arrested and is being held on a $1.1 million bond. He shut off the water supply to the toilet concealing the hole for the inmates after an alleged stabbing threat. Here is the astonishing escape footage, followed by the dramatic police chase and takedown of two of the fugitives. They are southbound 75, southbound 75. Please southbound 75. Looks like they're about to do a U-turn. Going back southbound 19. Clear back southbound on 19. Clear southbound from second to seventh. Clear from second to seventh now. They're going wrong way on 19. Wrong way on 19. Hey! Everybody move to the right side of the car. Open the door, dude. I'm not opening it, you kidding me? Get out. Hold him. Got hands if everybody can hold him. Jumbo, good hands? Shut up. Unlock the door with your right hand. Crawl No, Jumbo, back up. Crawl to him. Open the car. Open the car. Come all the way out. Crawl! As of May 28th, 2025, the manhunt is still underway for two of the 10 inmates who escaped from the Orleans Parish Justice Center in New Orleans on May 16th. The fugitives still at large are Antoine Massey and Derek Groves, both considered dangerous. Authorities are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the capture of each escapee. This escape has sparked serious concerns over the facility's management, exposing chronic understaffing and critical security failures that may have made the jailbreak possible. If you have any information on the whereabouts of the escaped inmates, please contact the FBI at 1-800-Call-FBI or submit digital tips using the link in the description below.
