on July 15th 2024 an officer from the Marshfield Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle that was swerving and speeding when the officer activated her emergency lights the driver began fing at a high rate of [Music] speed 1080 East on Becker uh approaching Peach just ran the red light at Peach negative it's a black GMC pickup truck no front plates eastbound I'm Becker passing Juno speed is about [Music] 90 F from by Fleet 24 Mar Shield I assumed you contacted uh Wood [Music] County think we're in position to get on that other side but they in the T4 can you start contacting Portage and just let them know what I have [Music] driver is signaling uh well he signaled but continued on Highway Y past m not stop at the stop sign [Music] one two four Mar Shield I blue another stop sign I believe we're continuing is it Heckler the road sign was hard to see Poss popular yes that sounds correct we just continued straight [Music] one to4 Marshfield just turned East on County Line Road County Line [Music] Road speeds are slowing um I'm still going about 60 if you're Road [Music] one two4 marfield turned North on Smokey Hill Road North on Smokey Hill speeds were about uh [Music] 50 Mar units we're going to have [ __ ] set up in front of you we let you know when they're set copy I'm just passing uh the railroad sign just pass the deputy it's like we're turning North on C is in Charles [Music] 34 you're not at 34 yet W unit negative get 10 for can you confirm are we going northbound 34 once I get caught up here I'll take traffic [Music] Marshfield to Marathon uh from the first roundabout uh we took the North [Music] Road I'm going to terminate at this point since we know it's a dead end here here pulling over hey Melissa it's Libby um I'm in Marathon I got a bunch of deputies here helping me out um uh so just let everyone know that I terminated ultimately because we were approaching a dead end dude is now in a quy so we're going to be here for just a little bit um well it went down a dead end road so we're working through it now um Jamie can be in charge until I make it back is every otherwise I'll be available by phone if anything blows up in the city thanks bye you got a couple more cars coming still no I asked them to disregard but I could tell I'm going to come home we have plenty in the city yeah I just want to make sure that that driveway that's longer right before we turn north here yeah that he didn't take that instead of this that's possible so if we can have them come up here and then just watch that driveway okay and then there was a straight off the end here before we turn north yeah I tried to look briefly but um so we've been dealing with a drunk guy that black drives a black GMC pickup um there was reports of him having a handgun um last time we dealt with him we like searched his vehicle and didn't find nothing but just FYI um that's who I'm guessing it's going to be but could be a different Black GMC that was driving po well it was blue I guess not black no Vin sticker on the but like zero like identifiers okay so and it's a brand new clean truck so if we're going to pull it anyway pull it out of here at least um I'd like to like go through it somewhere not in the middle of a field yeah so right not worth it to me an officer spoke with a dealership that owned the vehicle who stated that they suspected an employee of theirs named codin was the driver dispatch also received a call from a man stating that his son Tommy had called him saying he was a passenger in a vehicle that had fled officers were able to locate Tommy who said his friend codin was driving they went to cen's house and placed him under arrest [Music] might just search in that bath see or me quick yeah I love you Mom uh hold on I just want to make sure I double locked those yeah I did okay you can have a can we put them in the front please um once we get to the police department we will okay what is everything okay yeah we just had to search them before we yeah that's why we're hanging out here for a little bit so we're good now lawyer okay are you listening yeah I'm listening Mom okay you have rights I know so just remember Probation and ordered to pay a $518 fine
