swerved into like three four of the road so I swerved off the road and luckily there weren't any plants or anything that I hit but then I lost control of my car and I tried to Swerve into there was a gas station it was like a big um yeah the there yeah I tried to just stop in there and I honestly I did a pretty good job but there was a cement block that I hit I seen that and so I called the police you were the one that called yeah I mean yeah I mean I didn't know I know Sor but my car was smoking I was just like holy [ __ ] so I called and they saw and I I mean I kind of I didn't expect them to do any like drug things but they had me like do a finger thing and then like they had me I see him doing that yeah and then they told me they found like little plastic baggies in my car with like I asked I they said it had powder in it and I asked like do you have anybody in your car recently yes that's do they do drugs well I I so here's the thing I have two friends that did struggle with drugs and I know like a couple but I don't think any of them were powder but also I know that I haven't done anything but that's the other thing is that I just talked to the other officer just because I was meet at a party that's what I I wasn't trying to no you're fine being like in your business that's the only thing I'm worried about I know thaty you should find better friends well I know I'm you're a woman I I know I've been talking to my mom all day I was like I mean something was I called my mom where' you go tonight um tonight I went to my grand I couldn't I I fell asleep like as soon as I got home from but I texed my friend like I had Christmas after Christmas is my mom's birthday I see that 26 that's I'm like like what do I yeah yeah I like what do I do I I've just never been in trouble with I got suspended once he think that right I guess it's all right all right M go and step up here for me okay so this is another one of those things that I read to you on that yellow form you have so I don't know what you found um but I I know I haven't taken drugs and I know there are drugs that I had in my car okay so here's the thing going through the car I found uh a bag that contains meth and fanol I found three bags that contain cocaine okay inside that there was also cut straw there was a cut straw which would be used for snorting or whatever and then also in your center console I found a separate cut stra both straws that residue okay I so you found stuff that has this in it yes like is it like a a lot even a smidge is a lot that's not something you can do well obviously obviously I mean that's just really worrying to me so so here's what we're gonna do if we FIB earlier I don't care I but I've been I've been 100% honest I've been 100% honest because regardless of whether it's yours or not with it being in your car you're in control of the car I know that's yeah I know but I like the first thing that I did was call the police well I called my mom first it was just I I need to call the police first first thing I did was called the police if you guys asked to search my car it would have let you I mean the found the fact that you found something in my car I just know that's not my fault so I've been honest with you the entire time I've been with you I I've let you do it I've been Cooperative like I know for a fact that I haven't been okay so the other thing based on the sfsts that were performed by me and Sergeant cons there was indicators that you are under the influence of something obviously it wasn't alcohol and that's not what we suspected it was that there was some type of drug in your system and that's what the test for so I know you said this morning you were at the hospital for the events that happened the night before what more than likely I'm going to end up doing uh which hospital did you go to I'm not sure you have to call my mom and ask so did she take you to the hospital yes okay so I'm going to have that conversation with Mom but what I'm going to end up doing is getting a warrant for the medical records okay for your your stay at the hospital yeah that's fine I mean yeah I want you to do that just just to see what you had in your system person what mine comes back at now if you're Hospital results come back up here and then my results come back down here for whatever's in your system system take that on if you're up here or up here with what I get then well I know for a fact I haven't taken anything the past 24 hours last night I went to the doctors and I knew something was wrong I thought you went this morning yeah like last night was when I went to a party and that's when I think I was roofy um but I'm I was having really bad memory loss and so I went to the doctors um after I just really regained Consciousness this morning and I mean it's really scary so all I'm saying I even tell you this is that I know I'll test positive with this but it I know it won't be anything different for I I test positive okay I know like because just based off of Finding in the car that's enough to take you to jail and right now you'd be sitting there till at least probably the 6th of January I know I I don't want to go jail here's thing I do have a supervisor he should be coming in here in about half an hour I'm gonna have to have a conversation with him and however that conversation goes he's going to decide whether you go or not either way I the stuff's already been tested but I'm going to send it out to BCI uh Bureau criminal investigation they do like all of our further testing and they're going to get like exact measurements and things like that um but at this point it's kind of where we're trying to tow line for you okay and I appreciate you being on with me nothing but Cooperative but you know I have a job to do right I know that it's just I'm just trying to first get over I crash my hard at night I know you got a lot more that's the first thing I'm thinking about I mean I'm I'm truly Portage right the Robinson and Rena on love Lane yes yep okay and then do you know about what time she got there to the hospital yeah um a nine I um 9:00ish okay so this morning it was this morning we were there all morning till like 2: or 3: in the afternoon okay um what' she go in for so she was found disoriented and it appears she had been roofied back at the house in kener she came home to your house no back at the house in Kent okay do you know the address there for the house in Kent 524 dancel and is that an apartment there you know where like stand alone house um did did she take herself to the hospital or no I took took her up there okay um and then she was saying that they had got some drug results back up there she said do you remember what they were yes um um well yes I do remember but I don't know if I'm supposed to disclose that so she told me a little bit she said one was speed some type of benzo and something else but she couldn't remember she said you were a veterinarian and that you knew what the medications were ultimately what I'm going to do is get a warrant and I'm going to subpoena those records from there but if I know beforehand that helps me um it's up to you if you don't want to tell me that's fine but um I don't want to tell you I'm sorry I just don't know if I should okay that's fine so are you keeping her so right now I'm waiting on a supervisor to come in uh he should be here in about 15 minutes because I have some additional questions she was arrested for OVI operating a vehicle Under the Influence um there was also some other stuff that was located in the car right now I'm also waiting on test or some results right now that I can get here at my Police Department department and then ultimately those items will be sent out for further testing at the Bureau of criminal investigation now from talking with her she said she does use marijuana she doesn't usually drink right parent to parent are you aware of anything else that she uses no not at all I mean that's what she doesn't Okay um which is why we knew right away something was wrong this morning when she was so um kind of out of it is what she was yeah very yeah she didn't even know who her sister was she didn't know where she lived how did do you know how she got back home we don't know the sister doesn't either or okay do you know where the party was at cuz she said she didn't remember that either okay do you know if she went there with anybody or anything like that we don't know okay don't know that either okay CU like even from talking with her she said her memory was kind of hazy on a lot of stuff she's been nothing but very Cooperative with me um and my partner officer crzy um but kind of same story you said she's hazy on some of the memories and things like that which also would indicate that she might have been under the influence of something from the party and she said uh she did consume some stuff while she was there but what it was she didn't know right um they yeah she I'm hoping that her memory will start to come back but I don't know gotcha um so assuming depending upon the results that I get in the conversation I have with my supervisor she could be released to you this morning here within probably another I'd say half an hour at the most otherwise she'd be transported to Porter County Jail out on Infirmary Road just there past University hospital um as far as Bond or anything like that again that's going to be dependent upon the results that we get for whatever uh the contents are okay well that's going to be okay if you have a question I well we already know she's been roofied so things are going to show up on any test you do I we already know that so in I'm not talking about tests that are for her I'm talking about for the things that I took out of the car okay as far as what's in her system that's where I was leaning uh towards getting the records from the hospital which I can get a warrant for an alapena so that way if her results this morning were up here and her results now are down here that's something that the court and whatnot may take into consideration but if this morning it was here and right now she's here or here that's where we're going to have an issue especially if it tests positive for the other things that I recovered from the vehicle okay all right I just wanted to come out here and kind of give you an update because I know you've been up here for a minute okay I'm GNA run out to my car and then I'll come and wait for you to come back all right all right sounds good I say is that one of our cards or is that something of yours I think that's one of our cards oh it is assumed your car had been towed y so yeah it went to Phil's Towing out on Geneva Avenue there was did this is the only thing this is the only thing and they searched my car and but I I would have been okay with them searching my car they say they did find drugs in my car they tested that I didn't test positive for today but they said they found them on car cocaine which yeah I know that that's the exact same thing that I that's the exact same look that I gave they also said that I tested posible fentanyl right yes and is that the only I mean obviously for what limited stuff that I can do here one tested positive for fentanyl methampetamine the drug in the car wait wait methampetamine yep so fent it's regularly mixed together and then the other bag tested positive for cocaine I think you spilled water here that's all right don't worry about it um as far as tonight goes she's free to go I'm gonna send everything else out for uh BCI results so there may be additional stuff that comes later uh if no news is good news but uh if you get something in the mail it'll be at the sugan address okay um if she has to be at quar or anything this the 27th she does have court at 8:00 in the morning this coming they signed me a ticket for having drugs which I NP so it was for OVI and Mark lanes because she wrecked her car oh okay um she is going to have to appear for that uh as of right now our driving privileges are suspended until she goes to the judge and then whenever she does like your opening there you could ask for driving privileges if she is a student and you know and things like that but that's ultimately going to be up to them if they grant that that's not something that I can do right I understand um um I as far as like the events from last night if you as your memory comes back what I would recommend whether it's through suar and Falls PD or Kent PD where she's living at now I'd probably file a report with them as stuff starts to come back or she said she would be interested in having a a kit done we have anint we have appointment already um that's why whether you do it at uh they have S nurses there or Aon children's they have same nurses down there I'm not sure which one you're more comfortable with but if you already went to uh and they already kind of have appointment with their with their say nurse okay um but obviously with that it you know it's not fun but if there was something it may be beneficial to have that done and just have that sorry just scared safe you know proof of Mind whether something did or not or ultimately sooner than later to have it done and you know you do you but normally it's better if you don't shower before you go in after the event I don't know if you did or not she yeah she did no I Haven you did last night you don't remember y are you sure and not that that changes anything but it just can make us you the events Happ today but I just like they when I was getting like they did like foot stuff and eye stuff and like they had me count with my head up for like 30 seconds and I got to 40 which I thought was good but it wasn't but um one thing I said that my eyes were really dilated but that happened right and not and not that I care but I I just know that is true that that just happened to me thank
