this conversation and then I say hey I'm going to let you go since you were cooperative and this that but you showed you weren't going to be cooperative when you ran and then you threw a soda at me what they said was the total that you have stolen from this store is between $1,500 and $2,000 so if that's the case then we're looking at possible felony charges for organized retail theft depending on how the prosecutor wants to handle it or each one of those days is a separate theft charge okay please I'm not trying to go to jail okay okay slide your foot in there for me okay I got to talk to information do you have anything on you yeah so then she uh she goes um I just she goes no yeah here you can look at my purse I'll turn the car back on if they're done needing it off is she going to remain C she's going to go yep and she's going to go to jail no please don't I don't want to just going to take your pulse right here so um she opens her purse and there's a ton of stuff with Target literally the shade to the first cement so the width of the lanes um he started complaining of his chest feeling really tight um after we had her in the car soe I don't want to go a little bit of a Jo walk to try to get her to stop resisting on the ground but just a single leg um High L pin her on the ground joint walks to get her to stop trying to put her hands away everybody else is fine though yep is she injured she initially said she was fine and then fire did a second check on her and she's not complaining of pain in her leg okay so excuse me can I talk to the other officer please the officers had stopped a suspected shoplifter and they were just talking to her and so she was showing them her bag and all the merchandise that she had concealed in there and when they went to place her under arrest she sprinted off and and the officers chased her and then grabbed her and brought her to the floor okay when she sprinted off how about how far did she run uh about 20 ft okay and when you said the officers caught up to her and caught her what did you see happened then uh they grabbed her and detained her okay did she go to the ground or did they go to the ground or were she went to the ground okay um and today when she shoplifted and she did she leave the store or was she still inside she left the store okay and the officers contacted her inside or outside outside the store by the benches okay okay um and besides when they were talking to her was she did she appear Cooperative or did she immediately seem uncooperative how was she acting before she seemed Cooperative she just kept saying I don't want to go to jail showing them her bag and then they called me over and I identified the merchandise as ours and then they placed her under arrest and she took off running okay so when you said they placed her under arrest was she in handcuffs or was she still not yet they had just say you're being you're they put gloves on they said you're being detained you're under arrest for shoplifting and then she sprinted okay so after they told her she after they informed her okay all right well um that is all it is now August is August 16 2023 it's now 14 15 hours um Ethan pursuant to the laws of purgy in the state of Washington do you declare that the information given in this statement is true to the best of your knowledge yes and you bag uh she then purchased a soda at self checkout then proceeded to pass all points to sale and exit that's when the officers um made the approach and talked to him and and then um when she pulled the merchandise out she stated that she wasn't going to go to jail and then proceeded to run away from the officers okay um what did this female look like uh she was a white female about probably like four uh 5 foot um skinny build uh tattoos on her both her shoulders uh black uh black bra was showing with a brown uh dress okay um when she was talking to the officer the officers at any time tell her that she was being detained or under arrest yeah they uh officer burn said that she was being detained for shoplifting and that's when she uh proceeded to uh try to evade police okay um by try to evade do you mean that she resisted them grabbing her she ran away uh she ran away uh which uh then intended for them to uh chase her down and then uh detain her okay about how far did she run she probably about 15 to 20 ft okay and when you said the officer detainer what did you see when they were detaining her uh they they uh grabbed her shoulders and then um proceeded to stop her and then her momentum kind of took her down okay um when she was taken down did you hear her say that she was in pain or hurt in any way uh no not that I could hear okay do you have anything else to add that I didn't ask you nope okay uh pursuant to the laws of perjury in the state of Washington do you declare that the information given in this statement is true to the best of your knowledge yes and you
