stop right there you're going to get bitten by my [Music] dog you're under arrest stop moving on the 4th of July 2023 an incident required law enforcement Intervention when a caller reported a shoplifting event at a retail store the caller informed law enforcement that a highly aggressive female had been stealing items from the store and had physically assaulted one of the employees due to the severity and disturbing nature of the situation the caller decided to contact the authorities to ensure the matter was handled appropriately hey what's going on so uh I'll come talk to you guys in a second okay these two girls U one of the employees like say takes some chicken to the bathroom uh so her and I went to the bathroom she went into the bathroom uh she smel them smoking something that time to go I said they started becoming out R um just yelling a bunch of stuff us called be a Mexican where that came from uh see and then uh I said you guys need for the chicken as well they said yeah no whatever so we came they finally came out of the bathroom um no with the chicken as well say I see the receipt for the chicken that you guys paid for ripped the chicken other girl's hands start going out the store I said ma'am need to see a chicken rece chicken um that you guys pay for show the receipt and the other employee um she was the self check out um Margaret yeah marget um self checkout whatever walk through the self check Che do you want finish her last 25 minutes at register that we can down cabinet and can clock out good right I'll have Margaret message to have come down take over for me and then we know our policy for well know we take them inside press pass him restitution and oh could you Angel just down and then come down down here upon arriving at the scene the responding officer encountered Witnesses and the store's security Personnel who had initially alerted law enforcement the officer began by gathering detailed accounts of the incident from those present according to them two young women entered the bathroom with a package of chicken a store employee noticing unusual behavior suspected potential theft and decided to intervene also the woman appeared to be smoking in the bathroom a verbal exchange escalated as the employee asked for a receipt for the chicken thank you [Music] much was okay so I I missed part of that so you went to grab her arm and then what happened uh then she turned around was kicking me um so I tried to put her on the ground um got on the ground tried to take the Puffs out uh tried to get her hand behind on her back and told her stop stop stop continually tried to tell her to stop um try to tell her to get her hand back um continually it started attacking him and trying to get him arm around his neck and I tried to push her off telling her to get off the B one two yeah and yeah so at some point she dropped the chicken um again still our policy take them inside trespass rest yeah okay so who who is the one that had the chicken um the one sitting down beside the Blue Dress okay and then who else was the one that came my punch you uh her friend was one sitting next to her okay okay so two girls sitting down cu the ones that did that the black male standing up uh was just instigating the whole thing radio recording you can't was he with him uh no he was just another customer okay after taking the statement from the employee the primary officer and the secondary officer approached the group separating them into suspects and Witnesses hey guys you guys can sit if you want so so who who all was involved in this thing I just saw Happ to you want to go over with my partner then okay thank you a baby so to come to the bathroom bathroom all individuals provided specific information regarding the unfolding events and shared their observations about the accused individual one witness shared video evidence showing the employee restraining the woman on the ground after retrieving the chicken this video provided critical context for investigators offering an unfiltered view of the incident the store employees attempt to grab the chicken led to a confrontation one of the women resisted and the situation turned violent Witnesses described the employee pinning one of the women to the ground using his knee to restrain her the restrained woman Cried Out claiming excessive force was being used her friend attempted to intervene stating that she was pregnant and needed assistance and walked straight towards the check line as they came in the back checked out we checked out was a juice we checked out and then we went to I don't know what the [ __ ] happened after I don't what did you see happen I was in the bathroom BL pee when they came in the bathroom with a pee and he came in there looking under the Stalls telling them they need to come out he thinks they're stealing and stuff and so we were like why are you in the girls bathroom for one like you shouldn't even be in here and so we all came out of the girl's bathroom they started walking towards the checkout Sam he grabbed the chicken out of her hand and then after he already had the chicken in his hand he grabbed her and tled her to the ground put his knee in her back and like slammed her holding her on the ground she started screaming and I was like you need to let go of her and then she got up off the ground and was like trying to get away from him and sat right there I was like just wait for the police to come because you didn't they didn't do anything wrong all right you know what's your name then um all right let me talk to these gentlemen you can leave if you want to if you want to stick around you can oh okay gotcha how about you sir how you doing you said you recorded this yeah I did my name is so I recorded the last endod okay I go into the thing I get some water and stuff I'm buying some stuff and uh um um so I don't really know them but they know kind of like my kids and Stu so I'm coming out the store and um I see that guy grab her I grab the girl the red right theed so some El some chicken right so they snatch so they snat the chicken I don't know if he the dude had the chicken in his hand or [ __ ] but they he snatching the chicken gone then he's like arm he's slaming on the ground he got his KNE on her neck he's pulling you know what I'm saying and now to the point where now different people that already left are trying to get him off her now I've been in dribble you know what I'm saying so I understand that once something is gone once it's not in your your possession no more whether you stealing or not I don't know cuz that was before me m you you have to let you Subs to him do nothing so I just started recording I just I just she just call it right here after the entrance what's your answer my so at this point she doesn't even have chicken in her hand uh the chicken's over there he's dragging her but this is after he had a foot in her neck and he got his get all this is all something no chicken in her hand the chicken's right there why are you doing that why she's not even doing nothing why are you dragging her if I send you a link to our digital evidence system can you email me that video what's the phone number for you in a little bit you're going to get a text message from me just click on the link and it'll give you an option to upload video or any other digital evidence we have it go directly to our evidence C prosecutors have access to it that way I was I PE and those two people they said oh you guys need to come out of the bathroom right now and I was like we're about to pay for our step I really have to go pee though like I'm pregnant I really really have to go pee and they were like oh you don't come on right now kids then we walked out the bathroom can't ignore them cuz we were like we're still paying for our stuff and they followed us when the officer tried directly confronting the female involved in the incident she was met with resistance and argumentation the accused denied any wrongdoing repeatedly asserting that she had paid for all the items in her possession both women she was associated with provided similar statements firmly insisting on their innocence and maintaining that they had not committed any Act of theft they CH her I'll pay for whatever I'm sorry and they tackled her and I was like what are you guys doing like you're going to pay for it I just didn't want them to like where where did that sister right here right there so right here I didn't want them to tackle my sister cuz she's pregnant I'll I'll listen to you I'll listen to you let me get let me try and get through through the story here from her for I was trying to explain them like bro I'm we were just trying to go sub we weren't trying to go out the door we're trying to go sub cuz it's faster and my baby's at home drinking home to my baby yeah okay and I didn't want them to trip on her while she's pregnant so whatever it has to be paid for like what the [ __ ] I'll pay for but I don't know what the [ __ ] so okay hold on so are walking over and then what happened as you were walking with chilling chilling going check out what do you mean they kept trying to pull her they kept trying to pull her they try to pull me that's when she got mad I don't know if they have a hand and I'm pregnant I'm not pregnant no yeah then what happened and she was like she's pregnant she's pregnant we're going to pay for it we're going to pay for it yeah okay and they kept they W all this I was like please let her up please let her up the GU I not lie I pushed him off of her she was just trying to defend me mhm were you involved in this you see no was standing right there when they came around from right there all right let's see where we go from here what she said you guys went in the bathroom cuz she need to go pee with the chicken you set the chicken outside the Stalls the chicken should have been outside the shs I'm not sure about the chicken part but I didn't see anybody with any chicken in their hand okay but you had chicken right you guys both had chickens not that I I don't even remember what we had in our hands but when we went to check out we checked out hot didn't we have a reip didn't we have a re no we hav't checked out yet we didn't check out were I remember I said we we were in the we're about to get Che online pee I'm about to pee myself all I know is I went in the bathroom first I came out my sister went to use the bathroom she had some chicken at the register at the self checkout we came back out she went to check out and then that's when they started tripping on us about the chicken I'm like I'll pay for it if need be like I'm not going to still no chicken you feel me like I'm 22 years old like what I have to still chicken for yeah okay so if there's something I have to pay for it I'll pay for it I'm not tripping but it was the simple it wasn't there was no problem until he pinned me in the middle of the parking lot right here okay so it all kind of happened right here yeah there was no problem till he ped me in the middle of the parking line like what the [ __ ] are you doing like yeah okay I have a 2-year-old at the house that I have to go back to like yeah and so when that all happened right here did you were you guys still carrying the chicken or I don't remember I don't I don't remember I'm like I have fish TS I have chicken I have everything in my [ __ ] freezer at the house for my daughter shut up for two seconds say let let let me listen to her for a second so so watch your back was right here so like they follow they were following us right along this line right here we're trying to check out we're trying to like you guys know welome our I was like we're trying to pay for this CU my baby and our baby are hungry at home we're trying to feat them yeah and so they wouldn't let us but okay so the part I'm trying to understand is is um if they were confronting you about the chicken why did you bring it outside that's why I'm not understanding I have no problem with paying for it whatever has been built out whatever they're claiming we tried to take I have no problem paying for it so you just a 2-year-old I have to go home too I have no problem paying for anything that has to be paid for yeah okay but you don't recall that part of it no I remember staying at the register I don't remember like what interacted what made us come out your I was going in the bathroom and coming out of the bathroom so where where did uh so they they were in the bathroom and then they walk out were they still holding the chickens at that point uh yeah so IGA went in and she said she smelled something so I kind of stepped into the bathroom um so I told her to go in first to make sure there weren't any other females in there uh so we went in she said she spell something uh so I kind of went in there and I said ladies it's time to go um and cuz she said she saw them go in there with the chicken so if they came out without the chicken we were going to check to see if chicken yeah at that point is really enough for to do uh but uh they did come out with the chicken which I can show on camera they walking out um in front of all register I was following behind them um and then I said ma' i' please like to see the receip right out theore as the investigation continued the officer became increasingly convinced that the accused female was indeed involved in the reported theft and subsequent assault witness statements and the account provided by store security painted a consistent picture of her aggressive conduct during the incident despite her refusal to admit wrongdoing the officer placed her in custody when the officer attempted to arrest her the female escalated her behavior resisting the officer's efforts and screaming her resistance included yelling at the officer and physically struggling against the arrest in response the officer used necessary Force to detain her and placed her in the patrol vehicle okay so they were still holding the chicken out here yes and I did not initiate everything until we okay so this all you have that on but you were detained for shop shoplifting right that's what I'm assuming yes sir so when the police show up and they I waited baby you should I waited sir I waited later the case was presented in court where the accused female faced multiple charges these charges included aggravated battery disorderly conduct resisting an officer and retail theft the evidence gathered from the scene including
