On July 4th, 2023, law enforcement intervened in a shoplifting incident at a retail store after a caller reported a highly aggressive female stealing items and physically assaulting an employee. Upon arriving, officers gathered witness statements and security footage, which revealed that two women had entered the bathroom with a package of chicken. After an employee suspected theft and intervened, a physical altercation ensued, with the employee restraining one of the women on the ground. Despite her claims of innocence and resistance to arrest, the woman was taken into custody for aggravated battery, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, and retail theft. The stolen items were returned, and the case was later presented in court, where the evidence, including witness testimonies and video footage, supported the charges. *Video Credits and a Huge Shoutout to:* YouTube Channel: The Crime Watch Channel (@TheCrimeWatchChannel) We extend our heartfelt thanks to The Crime Watch Channel for generously providing this wonderful and amazing police bodycam footage to the community.
